Intended departure date for ED visa
uninformed_traveler replied to uninformed_traveler's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work PermitsSo, the date of departure from Thailand should be within 90 days of my planned arrival date? I will email the consulate and clarify to let them know, I’m not sure what else I can do at this point

Intended departure date for ED visa
I’m not sure if anyone may know this, but should the intended departure date on the ED visa application (for higher education) be within the original 90 days? I put my intended departure date as being next year since my undergraduate program lasts the entire academic year, and I included those program dates in the application for that respective field. However, I'm unsure if I should have listed a departure date within the initial 90-day period the visa is valid for, or the actual intended departure date after extending the Non-Immigrant ED Visa in Thailand. For some extendable tourist visas, you need to show the intended departure date within the original visa period. Does this also apply to the Non-Immigrant ED Visa for university students?

Intended departure date for Non-Imm O Visa
uninformed_traveler replied to uninformed_traveler's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work PermitsIf you guys know if on the application for an ED visa (for higher ed) if the intended departure date from Thailand should also be within 90 days, that would be great too. I'm not sure if I made a mistake, but I could tell my peers who may have the same question

Intended departure date for Non-Imm O Visa
uninformed_traveler replied to uninformed_traveler's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work PermitsThank you for the advice! I appreciate it. I emailed the consulate about when to submit her visa and they told me in this case for us to apply together and add my approved visa to my application later, but it seems like an exception. I'll make sure she has her intended return date as being within the 90 day period

Intended departure date for Non-Imm O Visa
uninformed_traveler replied to uninformed_traveler's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work PermitsI'm aware, she needs the Non-Imm O to piggyback off of mine and it needs to be done outside Thailand. I may be screwed though because on my ED application I put my intended departure date as being next year... but it's an undergraduate program and the dates I put in for the program dates field last the entire academic year, so I wasn't sure what to do

Intended departure date for Non-Imm O Visa
For Non-Immigrant O Visas, on the eVisa application are we meant to list a departure date within the original 90 days that the visa is valid for, or for the intended date of departure once the Non-Immigrant O Visa is extended in Thailand? I know for some extendable tourist visas you are supposed to show the intended departure date within the original visa period, but in the case of a Non-Immigrant O Visa where my wife is coming with me (whilst I am studying in university) I am not sure what to list. Once we are in Thailand we plan on extending her visa for the same period my ED visa is extended for. Thanks for the help in advance!

Visa for bringing spouse while studying at a university in Thailand?
Hey y'all, I'm in a pretty specific situation and I need a little help. I'll be getting ED visa to study at a Thai university for a year as an undergraduate, and I want to bring my (non-Thai) spouse. I'm an American, and I've been able to find a couple of links from Thai embassies in other countries, but little on it in regards to the US. I know she would need to apply for a Single-Entry Non-Immigrant O Visa - the problem is that I don't know exactly which documents to provide, beyond the general guidelines of what the embassy in the US says. I'll post a couple of the links from other countries and the general guidelines I saw from the US, but I'm pretty sure they will need more specific documents than is listed. If anyone has experience with this, I would be really appreciative. Also, she is not a US citizen but she is a green card holder/permanent resident. https://telaviv.thaiembassy.org/en/page/cate-5745-non-immigrant-visa-o:-accompanying-spouse-or-family-members?menu=5d75197d15e39c3598006fd1 https://hochiminh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/non-immigrant-o-accompanying-family-member-who-work-or-study-in-thaila
