  1. Actually not bad price , the dr cockroach is around 12750thb for 3 times a year and the other company is around 8800THB for 4 times a year
  2. My thai gf doesnt seem to be bothered by them either but she wants me to give her month before i get company in.. lolol she says "I will try get rid of them myself" and Ive told her it wont work lol but give her time until she realizes and then just call company.. apparently she doesnt want me wasting money lol
  3. Pets not allowed in condo 😞
  4. Small Cockroaches appearing every 2 days either bathroom or kitchen sink usually one not many. Any good company to exterminate them ? just recently got condo and worry this will be a infestation. Been reading up some threads but i want a good company that would get rid of them for sure. Looking at the following two: www.naturalpestcontrolthailand.com https://www.doctorcockroach.net/ Can anyone recommend which one is better? the first one is cheaper for a 1 year service which they come every 4 months the second company is more expensive but come in also 3 times per year.
  5. Got DTV approved - My experience: From London embassy Applied on the 20th August and got approved by 21st, got contract and letter from company stating I could remote work or WFH. 11,000GBP bank account statement Used ID and Drivers license for proof of location but the statement from bank that I used for finances had my address and stamped by bank also. Provide length of stay (no idea why this is required for a 180 day visa thats valid for 5 years) Flight number of arrival. Paid the 300GBP Fee and done 🙂 Way faster than when I applied for METV at beginning of year which took 14 days ,
  6. For the employement contract did your contract state remote or did you need to attach a letter stating remote work is allowed. For example my contract is very old so it didnt even exist back then but I attached a letter signed from HR stating am able to remote work. I assume this will be fine , applying from uk too btw 🙂 but I will submit my application in around two weeks as I wont travel until October.
  7. In my case I would only do 89 days at beginning and 89 at end of year therefore avoiding this issue as its clearly stated 180+ days and you will be tax residence. For people doing more than those days I would be careful.
  8. I have everything I need except letter from HR showing employment, now the issue I will have even though remote work is allowed my contract doesn't state it and HR are not going to be willing to write into my contract/letter. My current letter would show company in my country/hours per week/salary/position and title which is IT Senior engineer architect, would this be enough for the proof of employment? The way its worded it seems to be fine right? As per my embassy DTV1 - Workcation (digital nomad/remote worker/foreign talent/freelancer) Required Documents: 1. Biodata page of Passport or Travel Document 2. Photograph taken within the last six months 3. Document indicating current location 4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than £11,000 (500,000 THB), e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter 5. Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status

  10. In regards to DTV I have everything ready, except since am from UK I want to know if 11,200GBP is good enough for funds? as I don't know what exchange rate they are using to convert it to THB, I just use the international rate in xe which is around 46THB to 1 GBP.
  11. Do the funds of 500,000THB need to remain untouched during the course of trip? or just remain until VISA is approved?
  12. Can you use the money that placed for statement after you get the visa? during the stay of 180 days?
  13. Someone posted it above , am trying to figure out if this is the case lol makes it way easier.
  14. "They do require a 66000 per month income or 500K deposit plus cost 10K for the visa" Can I upload month salary slips instead of bank statements?
  15. But my passport would be new , the number would change wouldnt that affect it ? and to my second question any ideas?
  16. So two question in regards to this VISA, so my passport expires on October 2026 if I apply with this what happens in 2026 do i need to re-apply? And secondly I have the funds of 500,000THB but in GBP but I rather have this as spare money during my travels , so I have another account " Goverment Savings Debentures" I can get a statement from them , just want to know if they would accept this ? its fixed but I have ability to withdraw if needed.
  17. Lastest thing I've seen : https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/91fPdh6NtO/VISA_Information/New_Visa_Measures_July_2024.pdf I wonder if you can do 90 days at beginning of year and then do another 90 days at end of year or its 180 per entry. I know its multi-entry but if wonder if they allow 90 days from (feb-aprl) then go away and then do another 90 days (Oct - Dec) within the same calendar year as i would like to split up the time but only spend 180 total per year
  18. I have a question that maybe cant be answered yet but is 180 days possible to split in two entrys? for example 90 days then return home and after 4 months do 90 days , do these types of visas exist in any other place for example get stamp in for DTV or whatever visa and on the way out it stamps showing the remaining days?
