  1. Chinese copy of Apple AirTag start costs from $5. They works absolutely same as AirTag, except they don't have U2 chip for Precision Finding mode when you stay in few meters from AirTag. On Aliexpress just search "Smart Air find my phone app".
  2. News like this last time come every week. Family resort 😝
  3. I'll tell you a secret: russians don't have strategic thinking, only tactical. They don't think about punishment/problems with the police/prison. That's why many russians have been to prison. Literally every second russian family has a relative who has been to prison.
  4. C'est la vie à Pattaya
  5. The source here is the same - strong internal fear.
  6. At the very least, without laws the country will look wild and untamed, and this will scare away tourists and their money.
  7. The truth is as pure as a drop of dew. But do not hang everything on the Thais, this is true for almost all southern people. I lived on different continents. On the other side of the globe, 80% of southerners drive just as badly or even worse. I know a place (and it is on the other side of the planet) where the drivers are even worse than here. But both there and here they are united by the opinion that you wrote. Are they right? Hell NO! And we see it in the road death statistics.
  8. Look more clearly... They are young Buddhists and wise parents raised them and finally it is a family resort city.
  9. Be realistic. They will overthrow any government that tries to do this.
  10. For me there isn't a single flag raised.
  11. If a cyclist did not violate traffic rules and was hit by a car driver and cyclist died, in my country the driver will get from 2 to 8 (maybe 12 years) in jail. What about Thailand?
  12. Actually, you are right. Cyclist must cross multiple lanes road on at pedestrian crossings, without sitting on the bicycle, pushing it to walk alongside.
  13. I'm surprised! My opinion: The Thai (as a Thai, not as a security guard) acted Legally. The foreigner pushed him, provoking a fight. At least according to the laws of many countries, as far as I know. It seems that the guards have been given legal advice/courses. It's just that in Pattaya lately many Thais are full of hatred towards foreigners and they only need an excuse. Which is what we see here, and happened with British and with man with the owl on the next street.
  14. About Kuwaiti, the Thai Moto-taxi thugs are not angels too. I think main difference that Kuwaiti are super dumb/stupid and Thai Moto-taxi thugs in comparison with Kuwaiti are intellectual/smart. But I don't defend them.
  15. It can not be true: Pattaya City achieves 99.41 score in anti-corruption assessment
  16. What is wrong with you Bright Choomanee("The Pattaya News")? This people acts like wild animals: they group into a band, establish their own rules on the territory marked as theirs, bully, and do whatever they want. There is a building store there, I bought a drill there, these animals were there too, group. Everything was clear from their behavior.
  17. 😄 😄 😄 I don’t think the owner can stand it more then 30 minutes and will go to mechanic to remove exhaust or even engine. If he is hard nut this will be a problem.
  18. I never tried it. People who invented this method say there will be a disgusting ringing sound when the engine is running. That is, the nut will fly/jump and bounce off the metal walls of the muffler, creating a nasty noise. Moreover, on direct-flow exhaust pipes this effect seems to be stronger, since there are no small channels there, more space and the nut will have time to accelerate and hit the wall of the exhaust pipe harder and will make more nasty noise.
  19. Thank you. Yes, I really agree with you. My era where I tried to solve problems with scandals is over. Now I'm trying method number two - quiet revenge. I don't know, I'm not saint, I need and want justice. Again, these are rare cases and there haven't been any yet!!! Thanks Buddha. Basically, all problems CAN arise due to the way Thais drive on the roads. If this happens to me, I will get into a road accident and the Thai will be at fault and the police will acquit him because he is a local Thai (you know) I will most likely take revenge on him. Moreover, I will do this in 1-3 years, he won’t even remember me. I will first give the universe time to take care of justice. Regarding the house... I admit, I am quite rich. But the house will cost several times more than the condo, plus the land is only for rent. And I just don't want to invest money in Thailand. Because I’m not an idiot, I see police chaos between a foreigner and a Thai in Pattaya (I even personally encountered it once). Although I lived in Thailand for literally 2-3 years. I'm not going to invest in Thailand, although I have extra money. These are their problems. I do everything so that if something happens, within 2 days I will be ready to leave Thailand for many years. This condo that I bought is inexpensive. I wouldn't buy an expensive one because I don't want to invest in Thailand, it's just an attempt to save on rent. Mentally, I already admit that I could lose this condo. For me this is not significant money.
  20. Yap, I understand the risk. I also can wrap a metal nut in foam rubber or plastic, which will only melt over time due to high temperature in the exhaust. He will not even understand where and when it happened. He won’t know which camera to take video from and for what time period.
  21. I totally agree with you. I'm so careful even ready to cancel mission. I'm not maniac about this. If a safe opportunity arises ok. Expat This condo and district are just perfect for me. Even with this idiot. By the way, the second one disappeared. UPD: In recent weeks I see this guy depressed, maybe my (or other residents of condo) curses have come true and he has problems with male potency. )))))))) I still can not realize my plan, too many cameras. I keep waiting for a chance. I would like to find his bike in a parking lot somewhere in the city.
  22. Yes! I had thoughts about this. This is a cool idea, thanks!
