  1. What nonsense! To apply for a DTV visa from another country, you need to deposit 500,000 baht into a Thai bank account. But how can you open a Thai bank account if you don't have a visa? Alright, I can come to Thailand on a 60-day stamp, but banks don't open accounts if you come as a tourist. (You need a long-term visa, for example, a student visa.) So, in order to apply for a DTV visa, you need to go to Thailand, apply for a student visa, open a bank account, then deposit 500,000 baht and leave the country to apply for a DTV visa? Are you sure that an account from Payoneer.com (for example) wouldn't be acceptable? Are there any other ways?
