Generally speaking, I never experienced anything bad about the staff at the airport and one time needed help from them and found them to be professional and helpful. However I have observed plenty of entitled low quality tourist coming in. i would cut the staff some slack as they have to deal with a lot. but on the other hand, the tone of some Somchai out there can be quite loud especially in tourist area. 😄

Seems like a lot of Thai man like to beat up women. No the best specimen of man I must say.

As a man with no looks or games and Now no youth but some money, I pay for it.

Good to learn and know but not a big deal if you don't. I pick up some along the way and sometime casual encounter remark that my thai is "khaeng" but I know they are being polite. Most time I can only understand 10% of what they said. Why everything has to be either good or bad? If you can speak well good for you, no need to call other people impolite for not speaking. Why everything topic here has to be " I am superior because I do this and know this etc" whether its language, vaccine, mask, prices etc.

Update. I went to the bank to update my residence info. I forgot ask to why there is sudden request for my residence. I did change condo 2 month ago. maybe there is some information sharing with the different government agency and flag up. She remind me any changes I need to inform them.

@scubascuba3 @Upnotover You two are correct. I went down to the branch and it was from one of the staff. I did tease her about the 'scammy' English we had a good laugh over it.

I received this scam email today. Please take note. I have make a transfer using my BBL after reading this email. the account is ok.

I trust Thai banks a little more than some nonsense posters here. but I only keep what necessary here and won't kill myself if something hit the ceiling.

Nothing will improved if you don't remove those "objects" like food carts, insane number of motorbike, ladies sitting outside their bars etc.

What if the other banks doing something as bad? I know you are angry and its taking longer that it should and illegal I am sure. But I feel its better to have more than one bank. I am keeping my BBL. Also the thing about transfer limit - If you got more bank you can spread overcome the limit by spreading it all.

No. the lady at the account told me its about me opening the account on tourist visa via agent. I jokingly told her she help me open the account last year. she gives me a sheepishly grins.

Did you went to the original branch to verify? If so, could you just wait a bit more? any number to contact? I got my back on after 6 days.

Passport, bank book, driving license and condo contract. its at Beach road branch. They said 4-5 working days from 19 and just ask me to try banking after that. I tried a couple of days ago during the weekend it's still freezed. Today transfer works.

Update. My BBL account is back on today 25 Aug. I went to verified the account on 19 Aug.

Asides from Thailand bank. I also keep some baht holding on my WISE account spreading the eggs.
