  1. I came to Thailand last April with a 1 way ticket. No problem for me.
  2. I bought a Toyota Cross from a dealer in Pattaya, quite fuss free. compare price from 3 dealer in the vicinity and chose the cheapest one.
  3. Never happened to me or rather I never check. Just be careful next time. We are in foreign land, its good to be careful whether at the cashier or on the road.
  4. The Decathlon store at Lotus north has closed and move to the above new store.
  5. I drive on this road regularly. I have seen vehicle on the right lane going for quite high speed considering just ahead you will have to stop for traffic light at Theprasit or the bottleneck at Pattaya South road. Its crazy to jaywalk on Sukhumvit road regardless.
  6. Bus driver in Thailand are big bullies and some of them are murderers.

  8. I did not use it with lazada due to reason nothing to do with WISE. Lazada wouldn't allow me to have an account because the Thai mobile number that I have is previously registered with another user and Lazada wouldn't want to do anything about as far as I know.
  9. Strange for your case. I use WISE for shopee online no problem. I have physical card and on my apple wallet. I use WISE just like any other credit/debit card.
  10. I have been driving here for 6 months now. Buses are big bullies and drive like they own the road. These supposedly "slower moving vehicle" are the king of the road, along with the usual Fortuners type speedster, oblivious food cart and suicidal motorcyclist.
  11. https://maps.app.goo.gl/8JqB3BC3nZKXo5UD6 KK dental. English speaking and friendly from my experience.
  12. I found the acronym "VIP" are used very loosely in Thailand. Pay extra 100 baht you are VIP. Anything that cost extra 500 baht is consider luxury class.😀
  13. I bought a couple of reading glasses from Daiso. 60 baht each. quality is ok.
  14. I came here for value for money talk, end up with nutrition fights. 2 in 1 thread. I think its value for time.😀
  15. As a new expat, I feel that the people in this country don't care about safety in every aspect of their lives is partly responsible for such tragedy. This country has a culture of taking the easy way out, the lazy way mai pen rai. don't care about safety at all. This culture need to change if they want to do better.
