I shuttle between Thailand (stay 2 or 3 months) and Vietnam (3 months)... the Chinese are coming in big numbers to Vietnam... and also the Koreans + Russians... but I have adapted myself to their ways... bit noisy, pushy... but I enjoy it... once I have accepted it... it's fun to watch them... it's better than a TV show... I feel myself as if m a live audience to it... The tourism market trends are showing a shift... particularly with Vietnam, Malaysia... Thailand will still stay on top as a tourist destination because of ease of travel, food, nightlife and the xxx factor... Ni Hao... 😆

Anyone (traveler) who comes with an intent to overstay, or do illegal activity... will do it irrespective of the duration of visa or checks. The Thai authorities need to implement strict punishment like immediate deportation of anyone caught behaving in an unruly manner... or creating ruckus or damages. I feel the lobby of Visa companies are putting pressure on government for ending it as these companies are now out of business and have become irrelevant with 60+30+30 days visa stay. I have in Vietnam, there I don't notice tourists misbehaving because firstly it's a communist country... so tourist are well aware that if caught in wrong doing they will face harsh punishment or fines and zero leverage of escaping. tourist of same countries misbehave in Thailand because they know they will get away with it... sharing my opinion of what I have seen...

Got detailed info on it... He is from Sri Lanka... and not India... all brown color are not Indians... like all whites are not Russians...

Thanks to god... only locals involved... Or else the outrage would have go on and on... targeting certain countries, blame visa free policy, poor quality tourists and so on...
