It never has, and it never will be a good idea to book your ticket with the airline directly. You'll get a much better price booking through an agent, i.e. the best online-offer from Thai is 11k THB more than the current agent msp price ...

The visa officer at the US embassy we saw today when my wife was interviewed said he didnt know about aussie passports and I will need to contact the Oz embassy (which is why we went there after leaving the Us embassy) He also just told me to get a US visa to be safe.

Yesterday i was attempting to book tickets on the Airasia web page travelling Bkk/Hanoi,however they are looking for passport numbers.Now that is fine for everyone but me as i need to renew my Irish passport which could take at least 2 weeks.Being a tad impatient i would like to book now particuarly as i am being offered good prices.So does anyone know if perhaps i could book using my present passport number and then inform them of my new number when i recieve it.Im not travelling until June BTW.Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated!!

You pay 80 or 90 baht a head for the cruise, and normal prices from the menu, the food will be served during the cruise or before, per request.
