Cowardly scum, bravest thing they ever did was walk up behind off duty officers and put one in the back of their heads when they wernt looking. Send him back now!
Almost as cowardly as the Loyalist death squads shooting innocent catholic taxi driver in the back of the head.

Hope I run into him over Christmas.
Why do you want to buy him a present? If your in Pattaya you could always invite him around to the Dogs B####### for a Chang. That's if he can squeeze in past the beer bellies and fake Rangers tops

Doesn't look like that bad an injury; just a fat lip (I've had worst and shook it off). The author of this article should use spell check and posters grammar is deplorable
The attackers smashed Jack in the mouth with a set of brass knuckle dusters ripping his upper gum to the point where it had to be reattached. They split his tongue in two and caused serious damage to the roof of his mouth. They also knocked out his teeth by repeatedly kicking him in the face as he lay unconscious on the ground.......but hey its just a fat lip.

He looks young. Where are his parents? Been in Thailand for 15 years, he must have grown up here then. Something is missing here.
His mother is leading the fight to get justice for her son. This case has been on going for months now

I have climbed over the rocks the BIB claimed he fell off. They do offer a short cut but they are pitch dark at night and if your pissed they could be lethal.
In this case there might genuinely be no sinister cover up but then again it is Koh Tao we are talking about.

The old guy is screaming at the top of his voice, I dont know if he is genuinely in pain or just trying to empathize his point.

Next time I crash my car, i'll sue the car manufacturer
A 14 year old girl lost both her legs. Regardless of whose fault it was a bit of compassion would be nice.
If I wanted to give compassion, I'll go to the temple.
You ain't getting any from me. Nuff said.
You can go join the taxi who robs people because he is poor and needs a family to support.
Weak people rely on feelings, take the situation as it is, leave your feelings out. It clouds your judgement. That is the exact reason why she is on media, to fool people like you. Ask any decent lawyer, they knew her case was a joke. Next time someone jumps down from the department store 7th floor, you can sue the department store.
Your trying to be tough but in reality your talking rubbish. A kid has been left crippled for life. If anybody doesn't feel sympathy for her then you must have mental problems. You sound like one of these freaks who hate the human race. I hope you can find some happiness in your life.

Its easy to open a Scottish bar in Thailand. Just cover the place in saltires, tea towels with images of mountains and the odd bit of tartan and hey presto. You could be on the banks of Loch Ness. Don't worry about not having any authentic beer and whisky as Scots will literally drink anything out a bottle....It will soon attract Scotsman of the type who you go out of your way to avoid when you are actually in Scotland.

You can imagine his grown up son and daughter in the UK wondering how ''daddys golf trip is going in SE Asia''

So they're still trying to pin it on a foreigner.
I don't see why the new Prime Minister doesn't send the army into this lawless place and audit everyone who lives there to weed out the seemingly endemic corruption.
Martial law is still in effect isn't it ?
Who are these 5 families who are so important that even the prime minister can't touch them ?
i like this , but where did you get 5 important families from ???
Previously we were told that 3 powerful families "own" the island and its police, now you have found 2 more families, where did you learn this and can you please name them.
He is getting Koh Tao mixed up with New York

The police would be just as well to say that the DNA reveals a male Burmese immigrant who works on Kao Tao because im dam sure one of them is going to take the rap for this.
Image the DNA was sent to the CIA and they said it belonged a white male or even worse a local Thai. That would be far too much like hard work so its easier just to fit someone up who is not going to rock the boat politically.........job done, pressure off

"Somyot, who will become police chief next month, said he would travel to Koh Tao today to inspect the crime scene and follow up on the latest developments of the investigation."
I bet Somyot will solve the case now that hundreds of BIB's have been wandering around almost one week and destroying all the evidence at the crime scene.
Somyot will solve the case himself within one hour of arriving and some random Burmese is going to be the fall guy.

Makes you wonder how many innocent folk are in Thai jails convicted on unreliable DNA evidence

theres no way that its the British guy
no doubt they would love to fit him up then back to business as usual
If they were going to fit anyone up it be the Burmese migrant workers, A lot easier than having to deal with a western embassy.
If the British guy can explain why he left the island in a hurry with blood stains on his jeans im sure he will be ok.

Let's hope there's more genuine evidence than ' seen strolling near the scene ', I presume if it's him he was strolling before and not after the crime.
They have found a bloodstain on his clothes but wasn't he already interviewed and allowed to go and the stain wasn't seen then ?
I'm not saying he's innocent but the BIB get everything arse for elbow and it raises doubt especially when told from the very top to get it solved ' yesterday '.
He is the one they wanted to talk to but couldn't as he had disappeared on the first ferry out after the murders had taken place.
Was it just a coincidence he left in a hurry or was he fleeing the scene............You decided

A few years ago I was brutally assaulted by two Thais with pool cues. I ended up in hospital with head injuries. Ironically this also happened on Soi Buakow and it was after an argument over a bar bill that was 3 times bigger than it should have been. The initial argument has been between my Thai wife and the bar staff. As we walked outside two Thai men jumped of a motorbike and attacked me. Other farangs turned a blind eye as I was beaten on the ground. My wife was also punched in the face by one of the men. Later she told me that the Thai men who were friends of the bar owner never once mentioned the money or bar bill. When they were hitting me they just kept shouting insults about farangs.

I'm a retired Train Driver in the UK and if I needed to take a leak when I was driving I would think nothing of swinging my member out the window and pissing. Mind you when your travelling at high speed there was a fair bit of back spray

Maybe he thought you were mentally ill and couldn't be trusted with such an elaborate sound system.

From what i saw yesterday i think Engerland are capable of beating Uruguay. I can see a shoot out with Costa Rica to see who joins Italy in the next round.
