  1. The writer states “such events while rare”…Has this writer been living in a hole which can be easily found in Thailand? These events are commonplace here.
  2. Im not buying that “racing” story by the witness. People see two bikes side by side they assume racing or about to race. CCTV will perhaps get a better story than the witness.
  3. I see this all the time in Pattaya/Jomtien area. Open ditches or drainage pipes left unattended. I’ve seen this many times on beaches in the area without markers to warn of the dangers and always wonder to myself…”this is a bad accident waiting to happen”. Now this story. It is incredible to me the dereliction of duty on the part of Thai workers. Many locals have complained about their countrymen’s “work habits”.
  4. I don’t know which is more stunning. So many layers to unwrap. 1. The man’s “unabated” performance? 2. The “crowd” considers this shocking when the beaches in Pattaya/Jomtien are littered with dogs and their dropping? 3. Where’s the outrage there? 4. That they actually found a spot clear of dog 💩? Oh wait, they also went in the water. My feeling is so they could get the dog poop off. On Pattaya/Jomtien beaches the term “sand between your toes” takes on an entirely different meaning. These two preferred to lay on their backs.
