  1. Hello, thanks for the many postings here and Sheryl's answers. My girlfriend started Yaz about 6 months ago and we noticed melasma soon after but didn't make the correlation until a few weeks ago. It's gotten worse around her upper lip and now below her lower lip as well. In addition to many treatments that she's tried and continues to utilize, She wants to switch to a lower estrogen or a progestogen only pill (POP). We're unsure of the efficacy of pills like Minidoz (Note: she never misses taking timely, is short 155cm and light weight 48kg). And, we're not sure of the availability of the progestogen only pills here in Thailand, and she also has concerns about possible hormone issues on POP. She's Thai and I live here full time, so we we'll need to find solutions here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
