  1. That sounds great. However we did just have someone go there on the 7th Jan and receive their approval today (17th Jan). Do you mean that if you upload the majority of your documents to your profile online first, then upload visa and entry stamps after that expediates the process? I have heard (can be taken with a pinch of salt at this stage) that you need to be in the country you're applying for otherwise your IP may be blocked? Did you just go through this process mate? Thanks!
  2. Now that applications for NON-B visas using the online system are mandatory, it is also required to show entry stamps/flight tickets and make payments at the embassy. New timeframes from submission to approval indicate a 10-15 day turnaround time, as opposed to the usual one or two days. We need to identify which countries close to Thailand offer the quickest application-to-approval turnaround times. I’ve called numerous embassies without success and checked their websites, but many have not yet updated their information. It would be helpful to hear from anyone who has visited any of Thailand’s neighboring countries this year and managed to avoid the 10-15 day wait. Based on what I’ve learned so far, most people have experienced the 10-15 day waiting period for approval. However, the feedback I’ve received has primarily been from individuals who applied in Laos. Anyone experienced approvals in less than a week?
