Thai hotels are well run and offer value for money. American hotels are all mouth and no trousers in a race to the bottom. American hotels start off all flash, making outrageous promises they cannot honour, then customer contempt sets in after a few months whereupon guests are effectively robbed through hugely misleading advertising. I'd personally ban all American Business from Thailand and beyond. The only guarantee when you engage an American Business is a bad deal.

Surely, on a scale of absolute annoyance, Americans are significantly worse behaved?
