It looks like at least 500 picked 9 with the margin Rip so I'm somewhere in there.
I thought I recalled another 9/0 a couple of seasons back to one of you lads.
Lady Luck, as always, played a role in my success, I thought the Crows were better than their 0-3 standing and playing at home could get within a couple of goals of Melbourne.
Just pleased Port hasn't completely wasted their soft draw start to the season.
The AFL must have thought that we'd moved to Melbourne....

Cornes was/still is a yapper, he never shut up on the ground and Granger wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
His youngest lad, Kane, had/has the same problem.

When South Aussies talk about hard men this guy's name always comes up first.
SA football’s complex cult figure David Granger dies
David Granger died on Thursday, aged 69, having left an indelible mark on South Australian football while becoming a fan favourite at Port Adelaide. His football career was memorable and controversial. So was his life.

Graham Cornes in the Adelaide Sunday Mail, a rabid anti-Victorian, actually thawed a little.
Football justice has been served. The best team of the year has won the premiership.
Not only that, it has converted many of us who resented the privilege and the entitlement of the AFL’s Magpies.
The team has too many advantages with venues, timeslots and appeal. It is so much easier for Collingwood to attract recruits that can strengthen their list. Nine of today’s premiership team were recruited from other clubs.
But that is an argument for another day.
We have been converted by their new-age coach, Craig McRae, whose optimistic, open approach has changed both the way the coach interacts with his players and communicates with the football public.
Aside from McRae’s charisma, it is Collingwood’s game plan that has been the difference.
Whereas the past decade of AFL football has been built on a foundation of team defences which strangles the opposition and generates congestion, Collingwood celebrates attack.
There is a free-flowing appeal and a genuine attraction to watch the Magpies play.
Some of their rabid supporters can still be hard work but their coach and their team has brought football into a new era.
The pre-game images gave great insight to the connection the McRae has with his players. The contrast in the locker-rooms could not have been more graphic.
McRae was acting as cheerleader as the Collingwood players sang along with Mike Brady’s iconic Up There Cazaly, while the Brisbane room was much more serious.
There was too much frivolity in the Collingwood rooms. You’re not supposed to be so loose before these big occasions.
You certainly can’t laugh or joke.
The old-school coaches would have frowned but you can’t help but love this Collingwood team and their coach.

I drove into the car park entrance this morning, turned right, parked and i was about 10meters/ 30 feet from the front door.
You cannot see it until you walk down to the mall and look right.
If you know where Advice IT is and walk out of the nearest exit you will be directly opposite the entrance to Immigration.

Well done Will, Chiang Rai takes the Toblerones again.
A stellar effort, you were actually within reach of the serious chockies in the AFL rankings!
A top 500 finish in that field is not bad at all.

...and another thing,
with the frees 21-12 against us yesterday it brings our total to 469 against for the season, at least we head the league in something!
Moan, whine, bleat....

Well, the game's over for this year, Will is uncatchable.
Maybe some interest in the battle for second and third.
I'll be avoiding the South Aussie news this week, they tend to get over excited when the Crows are considered hard done by.
They did their best to lose anyway... anyone else notice that Walker usually only shines against the lower ranked sides?

Severely ingrown was exactly what I was talking about and painful to walk. I hope that is clearer but I will go and check out some shops. But I need some technical help not beautifing.
Let me know how you go, I have a couple that need work as well.

I think Titus Reilly summed it up perfectly.
"If you did well in the tipping this week you know nothing about football..."

There's a strange and unsubstantiated rumour floating around the sois that someone rang the Australian embassy from one of the far flung provinces and successfully negotiated the minefield of phone menus, was not hung up on and actually got to speak to a human being.
Sorry if I've wasted people's time on what is probably arrant nonsense.
