  1. Ok i shall answer myself and so others may find it a good alternative to agencies at D1 wich cost around 10x times ..... ....of course it all depends of the amount of time at your dosposal and eagerness to do it yourself instead of being picked up tough most agencies just provide u with ride to border and you need to find one going back from moc bai yourself... ... Deal is this .. Go to Ben Xe Ao Suong northeast of city ...either take grab or public bus ... Find one of the companies that do the route to moc bai ...there is one outside the statuon asking for 150 k ..one inside called dong phuoc asking for 100k ....quite nice workers on booth some of them sort of speak english if not there you can always use translator.... Best option is get first van/ bus of the day as border gets busier as the morning goes , i did all process get out vn - get visa on arrival cmbd - stamped out cmbd - get visa exemt vn ( beware of needing or not proper visa ) .,..within one hour ..... Then you call back guys at dong phuoc Reserving ride back to Ao Suong ... Done deal by 1200..... Cheers
  2. My idea was come back after only few days ....so i just went on a same day visa run this morning , within 3 hours went from main bus station NE ho chi minh so called ben xe an suong ....took first van 5:20 am with some company named Dong Phuoc - 100k dong compared by 1000k asked by agencies on D1. .....,.. .....by 8:30 all 4 stamps made included visa on arrival 35 us$ upfront ..not id picture needed/asked for ...contrary to statements around by travellers ...... I shall fly in 2-3 weeks when i am not skint man 🤣 anymore and can get one of those phony tickets , show cash and perhaps even pay for a special vip no hassle service mentioned above .....actually i will probably have a legit ticket going back this time but i need to go through bkk as i have rented a locker with a good deal of my belongings piled there. Come on man whats not to like here , really !?! ... chillling out with a 25 bath half a liter saigon beer , waving beloved gogo girlfriends as i stroll through bui vien then them chicks imaginary shooting me back it feels like Martin phookin' Sheen in that famous movie does not it?!? Cheers
  3. Agreed , might end up going to cambodia border , being treated like a criminal not smtg looking forward to .... And losing potentially € worth two hcmc - dmk flights would shortened budget fir next two weeks....
  4. Yes, my last entry in thailand was in january , i was 6 months prior with merely one week - 10 days out with no problems yet it seems last months it got nastier...... Thats my concern.
  5. If i am going to have a Tom Hanks Terminal experience rather be it at dmk or bkk rather than saigon ... on the other hand i read they have free reclining seats on latter and probably is cheaper in terms of food options.... 🤣
  6. yes that was my question .... if i get denied entry at dmk ... from post of people denied entry i understand procedure is they send you back to origin ..ie HCMC ...i am Schengen European so get visa exempt entry 45 days and to my knowlegde it does not matter enter same day and in this case officials would be aware of odd situation but the question is , its vietnam allowed to give me a new passport stamp in w/o proper one out of other country ? ..or the one running prior with still two days to end still goes...does not sound likely tbh...
  7. once they stamp you out another visa exempt is not posible wo having proper stamp in - and out - on a third country ??
  8. well up to recently it was supoused easier to enter by air ... all experts claimed if i am not mistaken... there was this only two enters per calendar year by same land cross rule right ... its all a big mess and no logic goes with it like so many things at thai land i guess... they sure are entitled to let whomever they want in and surely as hell i am no tourist ... but well other countries like malaysia surely can deal with it way better ....
  9. are you sure ? i never was questioned before when leaving vietnam about onward ticket ...
  10. I tought the vibe was quite the oposite ive read stories here and at reddit of people being halted and even denied so often since late last years .. i just found out last week ... my previous entries were by land through padang besar no problem whatsoever ... cheers ....
  11. I am flying from HCMC , done it 3-4 times allready never been asked for onward ticket , in this case id probably prefer it rather than been done at dmk and be left dumbfaced in no man's land I doubt any of the up to 20 probably more border crosses i had this previous 3 years from autumn 2022 - northern hemisphere - i had 20k on my pocket .... who the hell goes around with that amount in cash unless some transaction needed anyways.... i could however easily proof online to be well funded ... not the case for some days now ... .....at the end it all goes down to wether the guy in uniform feels up to it !!. If i end up going shall try to pick a line with a man agent at the end of it by the looks of so many comments read here and everywhere else ..... at least i have a thai sim with package going so working fine and shall have a way to maneuver ...
  12. Id be more than happy to be given a "last one" warning , i am actually planing spend some months back in europe this summer even get new 'clean' passport tough of course its all recorded in their data base but if i get back later at least it wont look so obvious plus i will plan ahead and get all required docs on line just in case like onward tickets and so .... I might try after all ... in couple days i can start to fill and send this new tdac thing ... lets see even if i can go through that safely first .... Thx for response and cheers !
  13. No chance to get phony ticket onwards as i am only on cash nor to show those 20 k ...but not far from it either .... till next week when i am due some transfer to my b account . I guess my best chance is they let me be .. other than that try to talk them over calmly stating i am no working .. i can show them my bank account monthly flow in at most then it will be up for them but no ticket onward .. i will book some easy to cancel hotel just in case ... actually its th efirst time i enter with this new ssystem that looks a lot like th eone thay had at malaisia but if they ask for ticket onward at it then i have sort of same issue unless i made it up completely ..but then again if stopped at inmigration to show proof the whole story falls... Thanks for response , shall be 🙂 Cheers.
  14. I was in thailand from early days of january till 4th of april so i will be out almost the 45 days given visa exempt here in vietnam ..... Not sure if that counts but from september to new year i also satayed in thailand mostly apart from week off in malaysia .... previously i always stayed at least a month some times even up to 3 out ... but my record clearly shows i am not tourist ... still never had a problem with inmigration officers letting me in ... Cheers.
  15. Hi i am considering doing that visa run from Saigon and read somewhere but can not find it that there is no problem with either border officials when you do the process withing hours or just plain right away .... is this true ... Also read as well about some public bus going yet some people say that line was cancelled .. do you guys know best - more economic- way to go , my guess is those bus companies doing HCMC -Phnom Penh may have an option to get off at border for a fraction of the whole ticket ...other than that wich is the finest option ... thanks in advance and b regards.
