Its really sad to here this and a shame that the team won't be participating in the causal league next season. It feels like it was just a few months ago that I was new to life in BKK and new to Sunbelt Asia United FC. Man how time has flown by. Thanks to joining the team I came in contact with many people during this year. Some of them I have not spoken to in a while, but most of us (the usual suspects that is) still met up and have a good time together. Most of my good friends here in Thailand I have gotten to know through our weekly games together in Pattana.

Its a shame that things haven't worked out for the next season and I will be sad not be meeting up with the team every Saturday for our weekly kick abouts and after game activities..

To be honest, even though we have had or rough patches and our ups and downs the season as a whole has been a great experience.

One clear memory that stands out in my mind is our very first game of the season.. You guys remember, away against Pattaya City. I think I had only been with the team for a few weeks before this game and I had no idea what to expect from the game.. Fair enough we ended up losing pretty badly (don't care to repeat the score as I am sure that we all remember it) but the gam and the whole time we spent together down there turned out to but one of the best times I have had since leaving Sweden. I did end up coming back to Bkk with a few scares (not football related) to remember the trip by but what can I say; that day was truly my introduction to life in Bkk and Thailand.. =P But back to football, Chicken Little, i mean there are really no words to describe this mans contribution to the game...lol

Anyway, we started of the season abit "poorly" but as it progressed and we started getting to know eachother I find that we really started to "gel" as a team.. This definately showed when we had our games against Bulls Head and Londoner in the return legs of the season. Talk about everyone pulling there load and really fighting together as a team. Its was amazing to watch as well as be a part of these games..

Fair enough things did seem to fizzle out abit at the end of the season but I am still sure that if we had been able to maintain the same aggression and passion as we did in the BH and Londoner games we would have had a season where all the teams in the league would know that Sunbelt Asia United where no push over team!

Anyway, thanks to all for a great and memorable season and for all the laughs/good times we've experienced together. Best of luck to everyone that carries on next season and I really do hope that everyone can find a team to play for. Thanks to Sunbelt Asia and the rest of the sponsors for making this season possible. Big thanks to Tytus for investing his time in the team and for believing in me even though my performances sometimes where for lack of a better word "appauling".

As for me next season I have been considering a few options since the Vikings approached me and asked me to join them at the end of the season. Alas for the poor Vikings, I came to Thailand to get the hel_l AWAY from SCANDOS so i will not be joining their team.. =P

Have a couple of questions about obtaining a 1 year Non B (multiple)

I am a Swedish citizen and 24 years old.

What I was wondering is if anyone has previously obtained a Non B 1 year from the consulate in Gothenburg and what documents where required?

I am now coming up to the end of my tourist visa and have been considering a few options.

So far the most realistic is for me to travel back to Sweden in order to get a new visa. DO you have any suggestions on the visa process there? How is the consulate compared to others such as Hull in England?

Is it also possible for a non british citizen to apply for a visa in England instead?

Any info/suggestions that you could provide me on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Well I've finally done it and made 1000 posts here on Thaivisa. It's been a long journey and I apologise for some of the drivel that I have written previously.

I am now part of the elitist club along with Firefan and Tytus. This means that I will have to buy a sports car for myself to keep up the image of these high-flyers.

Anyway, here's to my next 1000 posts.

This is all getting rather tiresome. Keith is living in fantasy land. He couldn't score in the Soi 7 Beer Garden with a 1000 Baht note wrapped around his little winkie.

Why can't he just piss off and play bowls or golf like every other normal 57 year old?

Yes Man Utd might be through but you could still draw Real Madrid, Barcelona or Inter Milan in the next round. All potentially tough draws.

My ribs are still not perfect. I imagine that i could play if I'm strapped up again.

Yeah thats true... but then again Real Madrid anren´t such a great team any more...haha.. they are all getting old... Barcelona on the other hand would be a tough one...
