Bangkok is the most developed area in Thailand, it's basically the Shanghai of Thailand. You can live a comfortable "developed country"-like life by living in Bangkok.

Okay and why do you need good luck for that? 💀 Don't tell me that you are one of those Falangs who don't know who Sri Lankans are. Sri Lankans are Buddhists, they share many cultural similarities with Thai people. Why else do you think they were picked? Thai, Burmese, Cambodian, Lao and Sri Lankan are the 5 Theravada nations in Asia that share similarities with one another.

It's so clear that Thailand picked Sri Lanka because Sri Lanka is Buddhist and is one of the 5 Theravada nations in Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar and Laos) that share cultural similarities. However, the thing is Sri Lanka is running of workers too, so why pick from a country that is importing workers too? Thailand should pick from "blue" countries that have excess workers rather than pick from another country that can't lose more workers.

Why is drug addition rising across various parts of Asia? Everywhere I look, there's people involved in drugs on this continent.

No they aren't. Sri Lankans are a completely different nationality made up of different ethnic groups, they speak a different language, practice a different religion (in fact it's Buddhism and the exact same form of Buddhism practiced in Thailand) and they have their own culture. Maybe don't judge an entire group of people based off of one person. Can't you see that the family was trying to calm the man down? Obviously he has some issues but it has nothing to do with his ethnicity. This is like generalising all Australians for some of the things they have done in Southeast Asia.
