  1. Diagnosed with adult ADHD but looking to get a driver’s license

    Anyone here diagnosed with adhd and have their driver’s license? I was recently diagnosed and have been put on adhd meds for 2 years in Thailand by my doctor (look to get off them eventually as they cost money). Now thinking of getting my license but can’t find anything online about whether you should disclose it or not. I asked my psychiatrist about getting a driver license and they said there’s nothing wrong with it as plenty of adhd folks drive. But they also recommend I don’t mention anything about my condition or that I take meds. But, at the same time, I’ve read some bad news stories about people with ADHD getting pulled over and getting into deep trouble because they didn’t declare and got caught with meds. Im going to reach out to a different psychiatrist to ask for a second opinion, but I’m wondering what you guys did.
