  3. Hi to one and all

I need to depart on the 12th Dec and Sunbelt Asia are not running that day to Cambodia, they are going to Loas. I just want to go to the nearest point which is Cambodia

This is my 1st run so i dont know who is good and who is not so good with timing and hastle etc at the border.

    Can someone please reccomend??

I live near to On Nut BTS so please take this into consideration

Also i see that AirAsia are cheap, which countries that are close do UK citz not need visa's for, maybe i could do that as i live 25 mins from airport.

Many thanks for your advice :o

  4. The opening post is not clear. Do you mean that while you're in Pai, you'd like to find the nearest border crossing point? There are none, unless you go all the way down to Mae Sot, or over to Mae Sai.

I was going to stay in Pai for a few days (Holiday) then do my visa run while i was there (I reside in Bangkok)

So i guess the people who live in Pai go to Mae Sot and Mae Sai?? i have found both these towns / crossings on the map. Guess there is not much to do there

Maybe i will just go to Cambodia!!! i was just thinking of a trip back to Pai for a few days but maybe not with a boredr run to do!!

  5. Hi people

I was thinking off a few days in Pai before a visit to the border to renew my visa next week

Has anyone done this run ?? if so any advice?? i think i will fly to Chang Mai then get the 4 hr bus across to Pai

I was wondering where the border was and time it would take to get there from Pai also is there public transport from Pai to border. Is there anything interesting at the border or close by??, maybe a few nights and a few days to look around or is it a get there and get out sort of place.

Any advice please would be great

    Many Thanks :o

  6. I am still gutted

That was the WORST performance i have seen fron a Spurs side vs Scum, ever, we were gutless, our Midfield was over run far too easily, for me, Davids and Huddlestone in the middle and why he didnt play Defoe, i dont know, really pissed off, looking at there team on paper prior to KO, i was so excited, No Henry, perfect i thought.

Wank performance, ref was shocking, but we just didnt turn up and deserved NOTHING

    Still in shock

  7. Sorted, i think i will need warming up for this one too!! so i will see you around Sunset.

3 days to go now, lets hope Fulham can kick some of them up in the air tonight, would love them to drop more points, fingers crossed.

  8. Hi people (I am from the UK)

I entered the country on the 13th Nov as per normal at the new airport and was given a 90 Day visa (10th Feb 2007), which i have found out, thanks to this forum is there mistake (as i should have recieved the normal 30 Day stamp) and its my responsibility to get out of town and renew at the right time and not rely on myself saying "well you stamped my passport wrong, its not my problem" on the 10th Feb next year!

So, my thinking is this, i will go on a visa run with thai visa service (as recommended here) on the 13th Dec, to Cambodia.

Guess i am just looking for some of you more experienced "runners" to agree with me!? as i have not done a run before and would like to spend Xmas in the sunshine!

    Cheers for any advice/guidence

    Newbie!

  9. Sounds good fella, Xtra Time it is, i cant watch this one alone!!!!, and the KO time is perfect as you said, bring it !!! Hope some more of you Spurs boys will be out and about for this one?

If you can let me have directions i shall meet you there? I know the local BTS station, maybe give me an exit Number?, like Patpong Soi's are exit 1.

  14. Having been to Thailand many times before and have always recieved 30 day VOA

I opened my passport 10 days ago, having just come through immigration and found a 3 month stamp showing admitted till 10 Feb 2007, this was at the new airport.

The visa class is hard to read but looks like W130

The lady actually asked me how long i would be staying and i said around 2 weeks and was expecting to do a visa run after 30 days as i may stay out here to avoid our winters back home!!! (UK)

Can anyone throw any light on this, confirm i am OK to stay??

    Thanks for your reply

    Confused but hopefull!!
