I understand Land Border Border Crossing on Visa Exempt (30 Days) is limited
to two times per year. My question is this. I hold a Malaysian Passport. I will
travel by land crossing from Padang Besar (Malaysia) by train to Hatyai and
beyond. Will I be limited to only twice a year. Your advice is much appreciated.
Thanking you all in advance.

Thank you very much, Ubonjoe.
Much appreciated. -
My Extension of Stay (Retirement) will end soon. I may not want to renew it.
Because, I am from Malaysia and I can go in and out with a "30 Days" stamp.
In other words, I won't be staying more than 30 Days.
The question I would like to ask is this. I have Thai Bank Savings Accounts in Bangkok.
Will I be able to continue to withdraw or deposit with the "30 Days" Stamp (Stay).
Will the Thai Banks allow me to maintain my Savings Account with my "30 Days" (Stay).
Your kind advice is much appreciated.
Thanking you all in advance. -
I am on a Non Imm-"0" (Extension of Stay) for one year. I need to leave the country soon. I understand that I need to buy a Covid Health Insurance if I return back to Thailand later. The question I would like to know is this. Where and when to buy the Insurance Policy ? To buy it in my home country before I leave ? Or buy it in Thailand at the airport. The big question is "Where" to buy ? Your kind advice is much appreciated. Thanking you all in advance.

My next 90 Days Reporting is dated 10 December 2021.
I may be leaving the country on 9th December 2021.
If I do so, I won't have to do the reporting ?
Is this correct ?
Your kind advice is much appreciated.
Thanking you all in advance. Thank you.

I am on Retirement Extension of stay. This was how I bought a new condo (under construction) by "instalments" from a developer. The developer allowed me to pay by instalments (on a six monthly payment plan). All payments (booking/deposit/instalments) paid to the developer was in Thai Baht/Thai Bank. Now getting the "Title Deed" from the Land Office. I had to send the "Full Amount" from my home country to the developer as stated in the "S & P" Agreement. Then the developer helped me to get the Title Deed (chanote) with the Oversea Banking Statement (full amount). Finally, the developer paid me back all the balance. Meaning, minus all the "instalments" which I have paid. The Land Office will only issue you the "Title Deed" if you can show proof that the "Full Amount" has come from your home country. Another option, is that you can send the “Full Amount” as stated in your “S & P” direct to your “Thai Bank” Savings Account. It must state that it was for the purpose of buying that condo. With that “proof” you can proceed ahead. The Developer with your “Letter of Attorney” can help you to get the Title Deed.

Try not to staple your card or any other documents to your passport.
It was reported in the foreign press, that certain countries will reject
your passport, if it has been stapled. Please take note.

My wife and I are leaving Thailand for a holiday.
The condo we are staying is bought by me. In my name.
It is true that when we return back to Thailand,
both of us must report to Immigration with TM 30 ?
1. Each of us must fill up Tm 30 ?
2. Or husband need only to fill up the form ?
3. Must both of us report every time when we return
after an oversea trip ?
Your kind advise is much appreciated. Thanking you
all in advance.

I am staying in my own condo (Bangkok) and I have the Chanote (Title Deed).
If I leave the country and return back to Bangkok, do I need to
do the TM.30 reporting ? In other words, every time I leave the country
and return back to Bangkok, I have to do the TM.30 reporting, even though
I am living in my own condo.
The next question. If I visit Chiang Mai and return back, do I still need to
do the Tm.30 reporting ?
Please kindly advise. Your advice is much appreciated.
Thanking you all in advance.

My apologies. My intention was to agree and to add to your points.
It was done in good faith. It was never my intention to offend anyone.
And I don't have the slightest intention to offend you or anyone.
You misunderstood my sincere intentions. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
My apologies once again. Khap Phom.

Oh yes ! I must do the 90 Days Reporting even I have the Pink ID Card
with the number #6.
Please take note. The Pink ID Card 13-digit- numbers follows your Yellow Book (Tabian Baan).
The first starting number is to indicate whether you are a PR or NON PR.
The number #8 means that you are a PR. And the number #6 means that you are a NON PR.
The number #6 also means that you are on Extension of Stay or on temporary stay basis.
In closing, Yes ! I must do the 90 Days Reporting as usual - because I am number #6.

Just for your info.
Just recently I got my Pink ID Card. I am on Retirement with the Yellow House Book (Tabian Baan).
For those who are PR the starting number on the Pink ID Card is #8.
And for those who are NON PR the starting number on the Pink ID Card is #6.
Mine is number #6.
Took my thumb print, ask for my blood group, and photo taken on the spot.
And in less than an hour I got the beautiful Pink ID Card. Much appreciated.

I have already signed the S&P for a new condo in Bangkok
which will be ready in three years time.
The question is this.
Can I sell the condo any time now before the three years (completion date)?
Please kindly advice. Thanking you all in advance.

I have a retirement visa and a multiple re-entry permit.
Practically every two or three months, not touching 90 days,
I leave Thailand for home or to other countries.
That means in that whole year, I won't be touching 90 days.
I make sure I leave the latest at 89 days.
Now the big question. Is it true I need not go to Chaeng Wattana
Immigration to do the 90 days reporting.
That means in that one whole year, I need not have to do the
90 days reporting.
Is this correct ?
Thanking you all in advance.

My Thai friend visits the Poipet (Cambodian) casinos very often.
As a Thai national, he proceeds to Departure Thai Immigration and
gets a stamp and goes straight to the Cambodian casinos. He need
not have to go through the Cambodian Immigration.
And before 5.00pm he heads back to Thai Immigration Arrival counter
and he is stamp in. And he goes back home.
The big question is this. Can I as a foreigner on Extension of Stay (Retiree),
do the same time like the Thais. Just like them, stamp departed and
proceed straight to the Cambodian casinos without going to the Cambodian
Immigration. Then before 5.00pm, I head back to Thai Immigration and fill
up the usual Arrival/Departure Card and get stamp in.
After that I take the last 6.00pm bus back to Bangkok.
Am I allowed to do that ? Is it legal ?
Thanking you all in advance. Much appreciated.

I will be in Chiang Mai for a week or so.
Can I renew it in Chiang Mai or any other places in Thailand.

Can I renew it in Chiang Mai ? Or other places in Thailand ?
Thanking you all in advance.

Kismet -- what Immigration office are you going to? I've always found my orange passbook, Bangkok Bank fixed accounts to be accepted in Chiang Mai. I can withdraw the money at any time, but I have to leave it in for the "term" to get the advertised interest. Early withdrawal = interest penalty. It's not like the money is frozen and unavailable to you.
Mine is at Cheang Wattana Complex, Bangkok.
Any tried that with the "Fix Deposit" at Cheang Wattana.
Thank you all in advance.

I understand that for the 2nd year for the (Extension of Stay/Retirement Visa)
I have to deposit Baht 800,000 in a bank for three months seasoning.
The question I would like to ask is this.
The first time I did it for two months (first timer), I deposited in a
"savings account".
This time can I seasoned the 80,000 Baht for the next 3 months, 5 months
or one year as "Fix Deposit" account?
Is my "Fix Deposit" account eligible for the three months seasoning.
Or it must always be in "savings account".
In conclusion, should it be in "savings account"
or in "Fix deposit" ?
Your kind advice is much appreciated.
Thanking you all in advance.
