I think you are giving Thaksin too much credence. Nobody really cares about this old timer anymore, he's from a bygone era and is old news these days. Yes, money talks in Thailand and yes he will get certain privilege's and is very unlikely to serve the full year, but the fact is he is behind the door and many experts on here and bar stools all around the country said that would never happen as they sipped on their cheap Leo. It's also worth noting that there will be people in power who are pleased he's inside and may do their best to let him fester for as long as poss.

Yes, I did also think that way and have heard the stories of many more than 5 in a cell, but just that misery of a small cell, even for 5, the bars on the window, no fan, the dirty walls, the hole in the ground as a toilet, the heat etc and just the pure boredom. Not sure how long I'd last in there. I have no doubt that prisons in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam are even worse.

Sukhumvit is comfortably one of the best parts of this boring country - good very shopping, some great restaurants, pubs and bars, and it feels alive and has energy. But I suspect you wear rags for clothes, eat cheap Thai crap every day and hate bars.

Just out of interest, as I've already now committed to Monomax for this season, does anyone have any opinion if AIS Play or Monomax is better than the other? Someone said you can channel hop with AIS Play i.e you don't have to come out of one game, search and log into another, as you do with Monomax? Does AIS Play have the equivalent of Max 1 (ch 602) I assume that it does?
