Funny, admin has already caved and eliminated the 2-5pm ban so apparently I was more correct than you thought. They also extended the 12am curfew to 1am. I’m predicting this will also change to later as well. Thailand is a great vacation destination that caters to many, but it’s also famous for sex tourism that provides a significant amount of the countries income. Alcohol mixes well with that… no pun intended.

Foreigners visit Thailand specifically to party. An alcohol ban of this type will undoubtedly kill tourism. Once they realize the lost revenue, they will have no choice but to change it back!

For what it’s worth. I know someone who worked in the plastics industry. It’s been reported that bottled water contains microplastics that occur in all bottled water in plastic containers. Water left outside in extreme heat compounds this issue. That’s why many prefer water in glass bottles. But I’m no scientist so take this info for what it’s worth.
