That’s nonsense. Palestinians haven’t had a real chance to vote or live freely in nearly 20 years. You can’t call it “self-determination” when they’re under occupation, facing blockades, and denied basic political rights. One flawed election doesn’t erase decades of systemic control.

It would give its non-combatant residents international legal status, stronger access to aid, and a voice in global institutions. Meanwhile, Israel continues to expand hundreds of illegal settlements in occupied territory, violating international law and worsening daily life for Palestinians. True peace requires accountability, an end to occupation, and recognition of Palestinians’ right to self-determination.

There will be lots of lies and propaganda from Israel, they are itching to force all a Gazans out, or kill them. From the UN special Rapporteur- Again: Ceasefire according to Israel=“you cease, I fire.” Calling it “peace” is both an insult and a distraction. All eyes on Palestine: Israel must face justice, sanctions, divestment, boycott UNTIL occupation, apartheid and genocide are over and every crime is accounted for.

That’s wrong. The two-state process in the 1990s was undermined by actions on both sides, but Israel played the major role in derailing it. After the Oslo Accords, settlement expansion continued, even though it was supposed to stop. That weakened Palestinian trust and undercut moderate leaders like Yasser Arafat. IMHO, this will be the downfall of any peace process, there are many illegal settlements still in the West Bank and Jerulesel with crazy Israeli ministers planning more, as they think international law doesn't apply to them. Israeli far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has said plans to build more than 3,000 homes in a controversial settlement project in the occupied West Bank will "bury the idea of a Palestinian state". The so-called E1 project between Jerusalem and the Maale Adumim settlement has been frozen for decades amid fierce opposition internationally. His death opened the door for someone with similar right wing views, Benjamin Netanyahu to get into power and since then, settlement growth and hardline policies have made a Palestinian state much harder to achieve. With Netanyahu in power, there will never be any peace!

You think Israel have a right to defend themselves but Palestinians don’t. You want Gazans to remain in their tiny piece of land, which is surrounded by high fences and there’s a blockade, and do nothing. All hostages have been released from Gaza, but not from Israeli jails, still thousands, many of who have been held for years with no trial. Israel always breaches ceasefires, I’ll give it 2 days max and they’ll kill more in Gaza.
