I have more of a problem with dogs that have owners and left in confined yards with no exercise that constantly howl day and night. They buy a cute puppy and once it is a full grown dog their not bothered with it anymore. Thai's are oblivious to barking dogs, roosters crowing, loud music etc, they just don't hear it.

The refusing a breath test is considered an admission of guilt, hence he is locked up awaiting court.
Your guilty anyway with their corrupt machines. know of a couple of people who don't even drink that have blown into their so called breathalyzer and told without showing them any reading that they are drunk. Say what you like but Thai law to foreigners is nothing less than a scam

What about his Wife and family. Think their could be a human rights case looming. They need to allow him access to his family , not residency but access
Is this guy his brother? They really look a lot alike.
I wouldn't mind if they deported Barnaby along with Johnny Depps dogs. They can also send back another Englishman - Tony Abbott. Same reason, on character grounds.
Good idea then they could all hang together out with sharky, another fine upstanding Australian (but really a K1W1, K een I nterest W ithout I ntelligence

I may be wrong but it looks like it could be an empty condom for a trouser snake

Great link chooka, very funny.
It reinforces my resolve to cull them if I ever get into power though.
Power over your own lunch box will be as much as you will ever have

All of your personal examples show nothing of the kind.
- the like shop owner was within his rights not to have wear and tear put in a bike which he has no guarantee of being bought, apart from an idiot flashing cash about implying he would.
- the bus driver was playing it safe. And he gets criticised for it?
- as for the campers, you were in a public place, in which case, they are within their rights to camp there too. But I guess they met you, and hightailed it.....which judging by your post, sounds like a perfectly logical thing to do.
Well aren't you just a little ray of sunshine with such conclusions

In the west, situations are usually 50/50 with the government helping out on single mothers pension and child allowance, DON'T FORGET THAT so when we take on that role in Thailand we are expected to foot the bill for everything and the sick buffalo, i think it's not just, love or no love, when the honeymoon is over and your bank account is depleted she will just post her pretty picture on the singles website and wait for another love sick dumbo to turn up,, and they always do. I'm probably one of them. Question? you are suppose to take care of the new adopted family in thailand, who will take care of your family back home, it seems a bit selfish on the Thai side, they don't really care about your sick mum or sick dad as long as you pay for the grandparents and the sick uncle (who is really their husband) and oh don't forget about the sick buffalo.
They KNOW about farangland benefits, believe me, so that thought does not come into the equation. Thats why getting hold of a farangland passport is paramount for many.
In my opinion and many others YOU BREED EM YOU FEED EM but here they just walk away till there is some type of benefit arrives as in a White Walking Wallet for all to bleed

If he doesn't want to take on the kids, he should end it with her now, and find a woman WITHOUT KIDS.
But why does he have to take on the kids?
When they first started talking he didn't know she had kids. I agree with some other posters that this info should not have been withheld, but that aside, he is willing to pay for rent/food/utilities, and I'd expect other day to day stuff.
First questions, are you an orphan and do you have children, if the answer is yes and no then maybe you might be on track and be reasonably unscathed by the whole Thai process of so called loving relationships. Big Horse there will ALWAYS be a handout of some kind to some-one. Quote end of Quote. Now lets hear from all the morally challenged 60's plus pram pushers who won't be around long enough to be of any real guidance and financial support to a child produced without much or any thought or planning. Don't bother trying to howl me down as it will be water off a ducks back!!!!!
-
OP it's a done to death topic.
I know you're new here, but the situation is getting better.
In the meantime, just make sure you and your kids wear one.
Apparently they are not responsible for their actions untill the age of 18 and that came from a Thai lawyer on a Pattaya radio station ( I am dumbfounded) No wonder they grow up with no regards to the law and NO respect.

It must be almost Songkran!
OR April FOOLS DAY

They are only dangerous if you are bitten especially by all three at once. MMMmm the mind boggles

i don't believe thai girls don't masturbate.
They all know the meaning of Chuck Wow, not correct spelling so to the elete don't bother with a spelling lesson on me!!!!

pumped and dumped by irresponsible youths
Takes 2 to tango
Agree entirely if they are adults but a nine year old can hardly make an informed choice can they.
Well the Thai boys like to get them on the way to school as it is to late on the way home, mostly the act will already have been performed
-
Scary to see how school students (and other teenagers) target old foreigners to get easy money by robbing or snatching them, even worse when police fine them 500 bath and a slap on the wrist
Not only foriegners, two little scum backs like these two and could possibly have been them put a knife to my G/F's throat the other night at an ATM in Naklua, they escaped with her wallet containing the withdrawal plus liscence, ID card etc. She could not give the police a description as they wore full face helmets and in the confusion did not think to take the bike number plate.
And yes I agree when and if they are ever caught the punishment is pittance. Thai Rak Thai
-
thailand looks to be heading the same way as australia, they banned alchole on trains, in australia if you serve alchole with out a liscence god help you.
the thai govt will prolly crack down on helmets seat belts soon, and cry about all the dead babies to soften you up for the fines
"alchole" what is alchole. Actually your whole comment is ridiculous, and I'm "prolly" right to say that, ay mate

I've often dreamed of going 200 years back in time. All you needed to enter anywhere was a boat.
Still can in Australia. Even the great tony abbott can't stop them
Australian consular services - appointments now necessary
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

Just another government rip off. 1500 Baht for notarization of income now when it used to be based on Thai Baht usually 5 to 6 hundred baht. Hard to find an actual Australian in the place .
Now you have to make an appointment for the mostly deserted and devoid of any helpful staff, the friendliest person there is the Thai lady with all the make up on.
And for those who may have seen the documentary on Australian Embassy where the young Australian couple had had everything stolen from them in Bangkok only to be told there was nothing the Australian embassy could do to help even though they still had a credit card. Well on this occasion my son, his wife and new born baby were there and they helped by handing over a considerable amount of cash to help which was put straight back into my sons account. Yeah thanks a lot for looking after Australians abroad.
