  1. I've tried Thonglor Pet Hospital's obedience class with my bulldog in a group session when he was almost a year old. When I signed up, I was really skeptical about what my spoilt stubborn dog could learn, but I was at my wits end. Fred the instructor was really nice and firm and I was totally surprised at how effective those few sessions were to curb my dog's behavioral issues.

Owners are required to attend the classes with their pets, so no chance of being lazy and just dropping them off. I found it a good chance for my dog to socialize with other pet dogs.

  2. If you are going to Phuket, you might like to give CC Blooms (076-333-222 or 07-333-223) a try. I stayed there with my bulldog over Christmas and the was wonderful. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

Taking a pet around Thailand usually involves staying in a really basic hotel room(no internet, a hard to operate water heater, a slightly uncomfortable bed), it is such a relief to find somewhere with all the comforts of home (wireless internet, DVD player, a small pantry, etc).

Here's a picture I took of the place...

... and here's my dog is under the bench in front of our room waiting to go to the beach.
