  1. Why is everyone assuming this guy is a troll?

is it the fear of losing one of the things that makes Thailand such a wonderful place to live?

The ability to drink and drive.

    I hope it's true.

Drink driving is one thing that can be stopped if the people have the will.

  2. I often think the mods jump on people to soon.

Please leave discussion of moderation out of this topic.

    See the Forum Rules.

    Thank you.

yes a classic example of awful over regulation that would make anybody walk on eggshells.

this place is ridiculously over moderated and you all know it.

except the mods that probably know it too.

  3. I personally like being attacked. It's not my fault everyone else is wrong and i'm always right about - well - EVERYTHING.

A self-confident man, probably good looking also and with an interesting character......you remind of somebody 'bendix'...........

    me! :D

    that's three of us :bah:

    FOUR!!! :D:D

Actually, I agree with Bendix (must be a first :D ), a FEW trolls, flames etc brighten the board, just don't let it get like that 'other' place (something to do with a hole filler made from indigenous hardwood).

One wonders how much time you have spent there in order to have made such an idiotic judgement.

    :o

The fact that the mere mention of the name of the site will incurr a ban and your ridiculous resort to lame cryptic offerings says more than a little something about the relative merits of both... no??

  4. Thanks, both of you.

Yes, still have to leave in some cases. Regualtions are different for self-employed foreigners.

Perhaps we should run this in the Chiang Mai forum for more input - must be others in the same boat/plane :o .

overnight bus to nongkhai, onward to vientienne to apply for your visa in the morning.

pick it up at 1.00pm the next day, back in ChiangMai early next morning.

  5. My 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house is also for sale. Kitchen extension to the rear.

2 and a half years old.

nice village including swimming pool and gym.

pm me if you are intersted in more details.

  6. I have many favorites but for some reason all I can think of at the minute is;

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

    by Douglas Adams

    Very funny and very true

Huh. First thing I agree on you with, Garro. The first book I laughed out loud whilst reading.

i have recently downloaded the entire original bbc radio series, including interviews with Douglas Adams.

    14 plus hours of pleasure

  7. so in a few short posts, it has almost turned into a BG thread, back on topic or it closes and the topic is up the top on the left

oh come on mods... you let the russian murder thread go on for 43+ pages of rubbish and all of a sudden when the honor of brown Isaan women gets threatened you in turn threaten to shut down?!

    rubbish.

sorry i'm new here, but isn't that rule just a little limiting on a thai based forum.

  8. I haven't read the whole of this thread.

i really don't need to in order to know the kind of uninformed, conspiratorial drivel it contains.

here we are sitting in a country where life comes cheap.

people are shot for absolutely nothing.

Here we are in a country that ranks third in the world for death by firearm and what do we do.... blame the mob.

    This place is precious.

  9. ChiangDao nest is by far my favourite.

You will need to book in advance at this time of year.

Malee's is also nice, very family orientated atmosphere.

The nest has wonderful fusion food, she changes the menu every evening.

    Highly recommend it.
