  1. And the tourists are still being attacked by the authorities.

    Almost persecution.

Imagine if there was a "police swoop" on all the tourists at Buckingham Palace, for example. They'd be an uproar. Yet continual targeting of tourists in Pattaya. And the "Top Brass" have said "Stop attacking Tourists".

    Claim they had a "tip-off". cheesy.gif

Sneaky "legal" way of extracting Baht from tourists.

I didn't know Buckingham Palace was a night club.... Thanks for your wise comment Mr Pattaya28. You've made my day.

  2. Be polite and insist going to the police station if he tells you that you did something wrong. Always make sure that you at least carry copies of anything related to identification, stay and licenses. Just make it a habit of having them under your seat or so.

I always carry my Thai driver's license. It is an official identification document and it has my passport number on it, so they can check my status in their computer (immigration's computer that is).

Your Thai driving license does show your passport number BUT it does not show if you are legally staying in the country.....

  3. I hear a lot of incredulous comments doubting the truth about his work not being related to Thailand, but I assure you , it is NOT related to Thailand.

I can't give any details because he wants to remain anonymous.

But let's say it would be analogous to running a contruction business in North America, delegating tasks to staff, doing business paper work, taxes, renting equipment, calling customers and vendors ect...

    NOTHING to do with Thailand.

Up to you if you don't want to understand.

As said it has EVERYTHING to do with Thailand because he is WORKING in Thailand. Is this so difficult to understand ???

And runing a business using an unsecured wifi connection in a bar is NOT a thing to do.

    Have a good day

  4. 200$ ? Someone from Serbia will use Euros, and only Euros, there is no chance that he will own dollars other than being given by the owner or working online(which is less likely)

I really hope we will find out more about this.

Serbia is not a member of the Eurozone. Moreover one can buy USD in Thailand or in Serbia.

  5. police guy on the left of pic with little smile thinking... niceee, some chivas regal tonight

the middle one rubbing his hand is already planning his karaoke trip with whores

the third one thinking those 2 numnuts going to spend everything in karaoke bar, leaving me with nothing

4 th one looking at 3rd one, i kno what u thinkin but i'm going party too tonight

5th one not amused cause suddenly stuck on night shift

There is no night shift for RTP. Their day ends at 6pm; their week on Thursday evening.

Is your comment supposed to be funny ?

  6. Yes, you must transfer your extention on your new passport. Your old passport is not valid anymore. The transfer must be done by the Immigration office.

It can be done at the border but the Immigration office is not at the bridge so you might lose quite a lot of time.

The ED visa fee is 2.000 thb and it will requier a 24 hours process.

Make sure that you've all the necessary documents from your school. Many of those private language schools don't provide the requiered documents.
