I remember the body scanners being installed for departures but can't recall new entry units.

BMTA Seeks to Hire Private Company to Run EV Bus Fleet

Makes sense but will the riled workforce stop it. The current service might be cheap but its also atrocious. -
Only use a little as it has a (not great IMHO) chalky taste if you you add too much.

Netflix - quality of programmes getting poor in general IMHO Apple TV - a few good programmes but lacks depth and some programming a bit wokey. Also have to pay extra for some movies. Amazon Prime - quite good but not a lot of new stuff these days HBO - best programming for my tastes, some quality stuff All of them, really poor user interfaces, why do they continue to promote stuff I have already seen to me? I need all four of them to have a good choice.

Why are westerners so offended over the word farang? Get over it.

I don't like it. Imagine if walking the streets of Newcastle I referred to anyone not of my race or of a specific race by a term that is non-inclusive. I would be considered anti-social by many. Hey you Caribbean, Hey you African, Hey you china man, hey you ting tong Thai, hey you white person. Its not the word it there belief that you are not like me. Those days should be in the past. -
My thoughts on first becoming an expat in Thailand and a to-do list

About as interesting as those YouTube videos of becoming an expat by some teenager who has been away from home for two months and thinks that qualifies them as the worlds biggest expert. -
If you mean full service like a buyers agent, hard to find in Thailand. Even when you are here and dealing face to face its difficult IMHO.

I agree! They are just not looking. It's alive and vibrant as ever.

It does not have the greatest of reputations already I thought. Can't see a scuffle changing it drastically.

Tourists ignore Songkran water-fight ban on Bangkok’s Khaosan Road

I don't regret my past one iota but I definitely know where you are coming from. I started voicing my disillusionment a couple of years ago for the first time. It's getting insane on many levels. -
Tourists ignore Songkran water-fight ban on Bangkok’s Khaosan Road
Whale replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
So.... You think tourists come here to read the everchanging rules of the administration 4 times a day in the local media? And when, as tourists, the arrive at KS and see revelling, water guns for sale and people having a water fight that they should know its an illegal activity? And on your attempt at "bridging" to a US tragedy, yes I do blame the accessibility to lethal weapons in America as the much as the root cause as their divisive politics and the sheer math that theres so many of them (as a population) means some are going to being retarded in some way. Indeed of those 3 3 taking away the lethal weapons accessibility may be the only way to reduce more such incidences in the future. -

Who sells them the water guns, who provides them with water, who turns a blind eye, who keeps em liquored up? Not foreigners that for sure. Its like those big posters en route to the airport threatening those who buy buddha tats or buy Buddha ornaments, but the sellers are never questioned, because they are from the same tribe?- 108 replies
