I know what you mean. I have all kinds of odds and sods that come and go. I have accepted that it's a sign to me of the end of the cycle, hopefully I can stretch it out another 15 years with habit of care. I just get used to it, the body has passed its point of no return, personalties that I grew up with are dead or dying, my friends have started to get major illnesses and to pass, my kids and other family members are adults and that makes me a relic. I may be 30 in my head and look OK in the mirror but when someone takes a photo of me, I think it must have been a bad angle. Welcome to old age, enjoy the journey before the pearly gates. As death is inevitable so are moments of joy.

Thailand, if I were to guess has about 90% of its cops active in corruption and a system whereby you pay for a promotion. I hardly think we can put Canada in the same group, Cambodia and Myanmar maybe. No traffic cop in the US, Canada, EU or even Russia has asked me for money, ever. Here? Well where do we start.

I am much more happy with streaming than the cinema, suits me better. The raft of simply mediocre films surely cannot be blamed on streaming, they still cost the same to make and the technical quality these days is superb. I also disagree about music, mp3s are better than the quality we got from radio pre DAB. And if you like HiFi sound just pay the extra to your streamer to get quality like AAC lossless or MQA. Its great to be alive now! (except for Ukraine of course).

I agree with you. Trading and gambling are the same thing exactly ...... making financial bets based on statistics, past performance and knowledge to make a decision based on probability of outcome. I play with sports betting and its the same as crypto to me.

It is arguable though. He did not buy crypto. He bought shares in an online bank in a "developing" nation and that bank happens to allow users to invest in a crypto ETF. I think some people, like Buffet and Munger, just get caught in their narrative and then they become enslaved to their prior views by their egos.
