I found a great reference when i was working remote. If you go to travelmonks.com and on the left side click on the free wifi links, it will drop you at a search result of all kinds of free wireless internet places. They have a lot of information on teh place itself, and a map that shows how to get there as well as how far they are away from the other spots. Its the nicest listing ive seen, and they all seem current which is more than i can say for stickmans list...

I found a great reference for free wireless coffee shops in Bangkok and Pattaya. If you go to travelmonks.com and on the left side click on the free wifi links it takes you to a search engine result page of lots of cafes. It has a lot of good information about the places, and a map that shows where they are and how far they are away from each other. It was a great reference while i was working remote.. Hope it helps

I was working remote from Bangkok for a couple months and I found this list of free wireless internet places in Bangkok. I pretty much visited all of these places over the time I was there and it was really helpful. Check it out at:

Hope it helps!

I found this list and thought that it may be helpful to others.. I pretty much live online, so this has made a very worthy bookmark:
I also ended up getting the True wifi package, where for an extra 500 Baht a month you can have unlimited usage at all the True spots, and there are a lot of them. You can see that list here:
Hope it helps!!

Was just wondering if there are any Linux users groups in Bangkok, or anywhere in Thailand for that matter? Any spots where Linux types meet up and shoot some pool? 2600 groups
?
Just wondering....

This came in really handy while i was working remote from Pattaya. They have a search engine full of wifi places that are all free and current. They also have a map that shows you how to find them all, which is excellent.. Can see it at travelmonks.com... Actually, let me find it..
