Thanks for you answers so far. I will try to pick up all the usefull info i can get out of the forum's archives. I am actually a serious and dedicated person. I am definately willing to learn and put all the effort needed.

i was just hoping to get a few 'guidelines' to get started. For instance, is it a prerequisite to have 2 million baht capital? How do i go about getting a visa and work permit (is renting a shop in my name,getting a license and opening a business enough to qualify for a visa) ? ...will be looking for info in the archives

go to get some info at www.thairegistration.com the cost of registration is around 6000 - 10000 baht if yr cap is 1m but if more than 1 m, you hv to pay more fee and service.

I'm looking for a small factory type unit anywhere around the Chonburi/Pattaya area. Must have an internal height of at least 20 feet. I've tried a good few property agents but all the seam to have is shops or bars. Would be a big help if anyone could point me towards any agents who might deal in these types of units.

My family own a big land in Maerumping Beach in Rayong, the size is around 30 rais ( 1 rai = 1,600 sq meters). It is 500 meters far from the beach. The govt planned to hv the public road cut in front of our land, too.

We are looking to sell or rent (long term) to good foreign investor who would like to build a nice hotel or resort.
