All of Bangkok is serviced by the Immigration office at the government complex in Chaeng Wattana.

Last night around 2am in sukhumvit area ..

when i was going to my room , i saw police was stopping taxies have foreigners passengers

(they didnt stop cars with only thai persons!)

one of that taxies were my taxi

they did ask me for passport and it wasnt with me at that time of midnight! , they did ask me to go out of car and then he did put his hand in my pockets and try to find something . he did find nothing , and then he did insist to find something and search again .. it made me angry because i saw he dosent want finish and i told him hey you can't touch me , u did search already and u did find nothing and bla bla bla

I wasnt drunk and i wasnt with a prostitute

i want to know thai police can put his hands in my pocket ? what is their limited ?what is our right?

if we be drunk or with a prostitute , so they can stop us ? and this country is democratic or not ?

I did take non-immigrant ED single entry

As i did hear ago , it will be 90 days stay stamped and also 90 days extension everytime i go to immigration

But i did see different informations on below site and made me worry :

It says single entry visa will be extend for only 30days and A further visit will require a new visa !!

Please guide me

if you want live in small cities ( your wife from that cities)

as i did search ago in many small cities can rent a big house around 5k-6k/month

and i think 15k/month is good for another costs

so can live very good with 20k/month in small cities

but not in big cities like as bangkok

I applied for the 'Learn Thai Online' Package through OLA on September 12, and received my documents back yesterday. So, all up, just over six weeks, which is fine with me. The next step is to leave Thailand and apply, which I'll do in a few weeks... No rush...

I found the whole process to be very smooth, and the instructions and assistance provided by the school was first class. I used the 'Contact Us' link, and received my reply with all the relevant information the next day...

FWIW, I was actually looking for a Thai language course, and didn't know of the ED visa until I found a brochure - so it's a bonus for me!

Also try Ola language school they offer cheaper visa than walen I think from 12.500 to 14,000 Baht

If this is their official site http://www.olainter.ac.th , so i not c any phone number , address , ... nothing from them ...

You must apply first for a work Permit.

Requirements are 2 million Baht in capital, 4 Thai employees (paying taxes and social security), VAT registration.
