Some pups from our last litter and one of our grown males from 2007 litter. We price them according to each individual pups qualities. pet quality pups typically start from 3000 baht. A pup with apparent show potential can range from 10,000 - 40,000+.

  3. Hello - I am an American and Im interested in owning and operating a business in Thailand. How would I go about setting up a company? Id like to do import/export of aquarium fish and garden plants. I would also consider opening a retail shop in Thailand selling various pet related items/foods and offering services such as dog/cat boarding, training, grooming, etc. A step by step run down of the process, requirements, fees, etc. would be appreciated.

    thanks

Hello experts...I needed your advice about my situation: I know it's probably been asked 100x, but I've searched this forum several times and cannot find the answer.

My question is: I'm an American photographer, wanting to open up a small picture gallery in Thailand.

I've already found a place to rent my gallery...All the supplies, etc. I just need to take care of the legal side of it all now. What documents do I need to get a working VISA? If I can obtain a 3 month working VISA that would work, I could then request an extension if business does well. If it doesn't no problem, I'll just pack up and move back home. I'm 29 (so it's not like a retirement request)

    Please advise...

    Thanks

    Eager Photographer

You'll need to set up a company and get a visa and then a work permit. As an American you can own and manage the business 100% under the Amity Treaty.

In the USA at a Thai Embassy/ Consulate, you can obtain a one year multi entry visa which means you can come and go as many times as you would like in one year but you can only stay 90 days each time. By simply leaving and reentering you get a fresh 90 days.

You will not be able to get a extension of stay permit based on business until your second year in operation at the earliest. That is why you should ask for a one year mlti entry visa.

You will need a letter from a Thai company to get the visa. If you are a serious investor, our firm can help. Feel free to e-mail us at [email protected]

  4. A big aluminum bottle cap works just as well, the ones that are soft enough to push the middle in and get that click sound. sounds exactly like a clicker to me.

I have tried to search for this topic but still cannot find.

Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can buy a Dog Training 'Clicker' in Bangkok? I have gone to some of the pet stores and most have not heard of them....

    Thank you in advance.

  5. In a rush to find the cheapest accomodation in Phuket. Is there anything around or less than 300 Baht ? I plan to be there 1-4 weeks. My main concern would be security, my only valuable possesion would be my surfboard. Dorm, shared room, local homestays, etc. are all acceptable. Need to make contacts as soon as possible, planning on being there end of August.

    Thanks

  6. I am also in a rush to find the cheapest accomodation in Phuket. Is there anything around or less than 300 Baht ? I plan to be there 2-4 weeks, depends on if there is any decent surfing to be had. My main concern would be security, my only valuable possesion would be my surfboard. Dorm, shared room, local homestays, etc. are all acceptable. Need to make contacts as soon as possible, plannin gon being there end of August.

    Thanks

  7. thanks for the replies. from what i understand the Pit Bull and Amstaff are not banned from ownership in Thailand just banned from import. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is not on the list of dogs banned for import. The potential problem i see is that not only are the names Staffordshire Bull Terrier vs American Staffordshire Terrier so similar but the dogs themselves are very similar in appearance. I would not expect Thai customs agents to recognize the difference between the breeds. Will my KC registration documents along with the veterinary health documents stating the breed be enough to prove my dog is a Stafford and not a Pit bull or Amstaff?

ive attached a picture of one of my Staffords: he is a blue/brindle male, 16 kgs, 3 years old, neutered. I have seen Pit Bulls with the same proportions and identical appearance. The only way i can see to distinguish them is with official Kennel Club documentation.

  8. I would like to import a Staffordshire Bull Terrier into Thailand from the UK. From what i have read Thailand does not allow Pit Bulls, and possibly American Staffordshire Terriers, to be imported. Will my KC registered Staffordshire Bull Terrier be considered a Pitbull? or Am Staff? or will it be recognized as a separate breed and allowed entry? The dog has official Kennel Club documentation stating its breed. I am worried that because the name is so similar to the American Staffordshire Terrier I may be refused entry.

    thanks for any info.
