Hmmm, wonder if the Thai's are wondering; where were you in 2014 ?
Is it possible that the USA did not have any treasure left to interfere in the events of 2014, Obama having given much of it to bribe the Iranian regime? Just a thought...

I this after, or before, proper honest transparent democracy is restored in the USA. Elections that are totally within constitutional law and fully auditable, so that 'we the people' can be totally satisfied that those that rule are legally empowered? Until this has been demonstrated internationally, the USA should keep it's opinions to itself.

If I was a person that had suffered from the attentions of George Floyd during his productive and purely honest life, I would be suing the family of this epitome of goodness and ensuring that I was compensated properly for the injury that I had suffered. Let us see how long 27ml lasts then?

Over 5000+ pages of legislation for covid-19 relief? What a load of deceitful garbage from a load of self serving professional parasites. Probably only 200 pages required for relief of citizens and businesses from loss of income caused by this virulent virus, which is not fatal in over 98% of cases. What were the other 5000+ pages for? This just epitomizes the corruption of US politics, where long term public servants, joking, have become extremely rich, must be by investing their salaries wisely, cannot legally see any other way. All other spending should be in bills designed for specific purposes, not lost in the labyrinth of over 5000 pages of of effluent so funds can be donated surreptitiously without justification. Still it`s up to you myopic US citizens to deal wth this, the rest of us will just look on and laugh at you being fleeced by these servants of the people, after all it`s your tax money that is being deceitfully appropriated for expenditure that has almost no benefit to the ordanary member of `we the people`, or should that read sheeple?

Thank you for your politeness, as to baseless, time will tell, I sincerely hope they are. Biden (seemingly a nice enough person) is not an achiever or an inspirational anything,he will just do what his owners tell him to do, Harris, who knows what she is, a soft Marxist?

I am quite amused at the arrogance of the supporters of the scion of the allegedly corrupt Biden family, do they really think that the current federal United States of America will remain relevant on the international stage, even if it holds together, after this election farce? Whom ever is supposed potus, probably Harris, in the next few years will be looked upon as banana republic leader. With the policies of this bunch of morons the USA will rapidly go broke, the military will have to be downsized dramatically, no money, thereby completely removing the last vestige of international authority the USA had, the blatant ignoring of the tenets of the revered Constitution,by so called legal scholars and corrupt politicians, removed moral authority. China will carry on with their long term plan and dominate the world. Just another corrupt bunch of parasitic self aggrandising tossers pissing on `we the people`.

legally, self supporting, not belonging to a group of people parasitically living off the indigenous population whilst trying to impose alien social values upon them. I expect that the Thai police would take exception and react in an adverse manner if they encountered such a group of illegals.

when the lawsuits have all been serviced and any recounts requiring only legally properly verified votes are finished then perhaps the country will have a president.

agreed with the caveat that if the charges are false or unproveable person who instigated the charges receives a draconian prison sentence.

4+ years to prepare, to create a consolidated central body to process paperwork. what has been done? nothing much it seems.the govrnment and the hauliers are both equally to blame. the big companies will be ok, so shipments will be transferred to them I suppose.

Did these people actually commit any crimes, or were they just talking about out committing a criminal offense? How many people have spoken about doing violence to the PRESIDENT? Have they been arrested? How many of the BLM affiliated rioters/looters are currently incarcerated, they actually commited crimes. From the original article there seems to be no actual crime committed. It will be interesting to follow the prosecution of these alleged thought crimes.

Thank you for your attempts to cleanse the Thaivisa forum of any actual discussion or debate.
I cannot imagine what sort of twisted process an expat must go through in order to end up believing that people he disagrees with deserve to be deported. Clearly, however, having me deported would be easier for you than countering my facts with any sort of argument.
I would, however, point out that, as your post mentions moderation, it is in flagrant contravention of forum rules and should be deleted.
Interesting reply. what facts?..you have not supplied factual proof of the suggestion of anything, only conjecture in your post...and I implied that by inferring that people who have the power to remove permission to stay in Thailand of any action that is not ethical could lead to the closing of Thaivisa and cancelling of visa. I am all for open discussion of any topic , but this is Thailand and one must live and speak within the constraints of the society we reside in and keep your 'FACTS' to yourself unless the Thai authorities actually broach the subject in public themselves. Just because big jerk has filed suit against the government for infractions of labour laws does not justify unconfirmed allegations against some very powerful people.

Does anybody have some knowledge the Thai naval doctrine? The Gulf is large, but reportedly has an average depth of 68 meters and the deepest parts are 100 meters. May be smaller 300-500 ton subs will be more suitable. Or fast patrol boats can give sound coastal protection. There is probably some kind of inter-service rivalry between the Army and the Navy, and the boat boys want sexy toys too.
What is the purpose of the submarine? They provide intelligence and underwater protection for surface ships, and are able to detect and lay mines more efficiently than any other navy vessel. Submarines provide a means to land special forces in hostile regions and, if fitted with suitable weapons, are able to strike land targets.Unless Thailand enters into international aggressive hostilities, deep sea submarines are pretty useless. They would not last 5 minutes in the Thai coastal waters against any half decent opponent, so would be of little use in protecting Thailand. They will be an even bigger white elephant than the empty air craft carrier as the supporting infrastructure and operating costs for these items would make a huge dent in the military budget. -

I use online services quite frequently, and find that Kerry is highly efficient and not costly. This industry is driven by service levels and cost to consumer. If costs spiral or service level drops, they lose business. There are many alternatives, albeit not as good as Kerry, but acceptable.. why does the government need to become involved in a purely commercial enterprise?

Sell/scrap/mothball the NON aircraft carrier. Cancel/mothball all naval assets that are not defensive assets. Ground/sell all offensive warplanes, replace with state of the art defensive missile/radar systems.Thailand does not need any assets that are internationally offensive. Slim down drastically the officer corp of the armed forces, only keep those on full time active duty. That should release a large portion of the budget that can be used for infrastructure/education/health and public support.

How would Thailand defend itself without the submarines?
And the aircraft carrier and blimp? Which one of the 500 generals/senior orificers will lead the defense ? (500 is just a random number, may be less)

what have the civil service in Brussels been doing for 3 years. They have had ample time to prepare for Brexit. I suppose they were doing very little, as their 'leaders' were adamant there would be no Brexit. Tough they have 11 months to conclude a trade deal., otherwise WTO terms until a deal is concluded.

I love living in the middle of no-where...had to go to Pattaya on business for a couple of days...road works and incredible traffic congestion, hated it...the only drawback, as mentioned is the 300 decibel speaker addiction, death, marriage, barfday, new house occurrences. Mostly it is very quiet and civilised, people are friendly and polite...except for my wife...reasonably decent vet within 12k..local hospital 12k, decent private hospital 35k, tesco, big C, good dog food suppliers 12k..I have plenty to do caring for my canine tribe, bed before 21.00 rise a 05.00....I have a good internet connection, for news, online books and torrents, True tv...(for what it's worth)...95% reliable electricity supply...very rare traffic problems. I like it.

Really? What are you chomping on,raw cannabis, living in a fairy tale world. I suppose it is the act of a true patriot to open the Southern Border to anyone who wishes to enter, without a visa, without health checks, without means of support. Why not replicate these rules to all entry to the USA at all ports of entry, no visa, no money, no job, no health restrictions...save a fortune in Immigration personnel and consular staff, just buy a ticket, in you come. A true patriot would be interested in the financial and personal welfare of the citizens and not interfere in the infrastructure that is in place, or being developed, to improve living, safety and cost benefits to resident citizens.
