How sad indeed. Good idea to wait until the games start before doing something. Gotta love True

Just returned yesterday from that area. I was staying with the g/f's family about 16Km south of Na Klang near Dan Chang. First, you will not need AirCon in Dec and in fact most times a fan is OK, however, you might need a blanket as it does get cool in that part of the country. Second, as for hotels while I've never stayed in any there (Na Klang) but I have noticed at least 2 in the (so called) town of Na Klang off the main drag. I don't have extensive knowledge of the area but if you find 2/3 falangs that will be a total surprise. Again that's based on going in off 210 for 16Km and there is rumored that a Falang has moved into the area. Lastly not aware of any English tutors but anything is possible.

Just spoke to a friend who completed his 90 visa run today using the Aranyaprathet (Sakaeo Province) crossing. Needless to say lots of min-van etc as it appears to be one if not the only one open.

I've looking at the Immigration WEB site but cannot find if the BKK Immigration Office is closed this Monday (6 July) along with the stated holidays on Tuesday and Wednesday? Any suggestions wherer to go for accurate info?

I remember seeing a Bangkok contact telephone number at the bottom of the main and contact pages of the eThailand site.
However, this morning all that info has been removed. Guess it’s just time to move on as most of the info on the site are links to other locations.

Has anyone bought or knows where to buy and electronic dog whistle? I'm looking for a type where you can adjust the sensor for duration of barking and various levels and frequencies. I know they are available in the UK and Italy and I'm sure more places but what about here in Thailand??

Just wanted folks to know that Gordon at the Scottsman on Soi Buakhao was most helpful. He did know of a piper but unfortunately for me the person isn't coming back to Thailand until this weekend. That makes it 3 days late. I did find someone in Bangkok at bangkokpiper.com. Something to remember for the future.
Cheers to all that answeredp

Can someone help me on this? I checked the board but the most recent posting appears to be Dec 02.
My passport is due for renewal (that’s expired not out of pages as you can add pages to a US passport) about 2 months before the expiration of my “Retirement Visa”. Can I use/show the old passport until it is time to renew the visa or do I have to reapply?
