A few years back I had TOT, pure crap! my line went down and it took three months to get it back. Every day I would call they would say someone come tomorrow and they never show. Finally I spotted a TOT tech and asked him to look into it an hour later it was working. They still charged me for the time it wasn't working only a 100B a month but they shouldn't have charged me anything for service that didn't work. Have free WIFI in the building I live TOT is the ISP, have to admit it is better now than before but still crap. I pay extra to have True internet it is ten times better and way more dependable. Sometimes in my building the TOT can go out for days or sometimes weeks at a time. Some people seem to have good luck with TOT luck of the draw I think. I have heard 3bb is pretty good I know a few people that have it they say it is good. I think a lot depends on where you are located. I avoid TOT, just my thoughts

these online consolidators are a bunch of crooks. I can get much better prices from just about any travel agent. Still even cheaper from the airline web site itself. I can book with China airline from San Francisco to BKK round trip for under 700 dollar. Any of these online bandits charge 900 dollar and up and I mean way up....

I had TOT for a couple of years it was crap the whole time, but I had no other choice. They have a book of excuses that the people at 1100 call center read from to give out excuses to subscribers, total incompetence. I would never use them again under any circumstances period. I have CAT now and I am as happy as can be with them. Everything CAT said they would do they did and they did it even better than they said. Up time is almost 100 percent and speed is more than they described when I signed up... I pay more but I get good service. If you have any choice at all stay away from TOT at any cost !

US passport holders only. The key issue here is that you have to present your passport to have this done. I don't know any way around this.

TOT has got to be the worse company to do business with. Nothing but lies and unkept promises. I for one would never do business with them again even if i had to move to another area... avoid them if at all possible!

Lies Lies Lies.... One time the guy on the phone started laughing then he set the phone down, then I could hear the word falng falang and about five people in the room would break out in laughter after about 30 seconds he hung up the phone. Their internet service was always slow except very early morning say about 3AM . Stay away from them at all cost. My location is Soi Khao Talo in Pattaya.

CAT is kinda pricy about 2600/month but I hear the service is pretty good and I also heard that if you have a problem that they will take care of it right away.

TT & T I have a friend that has their Max Net and he gets a good solid 3Mbps. I have heard some bad stories about them so it may be a hit and miss with them.

I personally use Banglamung CATV Internet service I guess it is actually Hi Net fron CAT. At first there were some problems but they worked on it and now it seems to be working pretty well. 1600 a month

TOT I guess would rather spend their money on new office buildings than buying bandwidth for their subscribers. I was so happy to walk into their new office and cancel my seervice, I had a grin on my face from ear to ear. The girl in the office did ask us why we were cancelling, she did'nt seem to suprised by our answer....

I quite like those scam emails. I like to play along with it for a few weeks and get their hopes up by pretending to be a rich philanthropist and then pull the plug at the last minute.

Yea man, I done the same thing a couple of times. My gig is I act like I am retarded (maybe I am) I convince them I have an ATM account that nets out a few hundred a day. But I am so slow that they have to explain to me every thing in detail about five times. I do things like asking them several times how to send money Western union. It ends up being a waste of time on their part, and I get to have a little fun with the crooks. I don't do it to all of them because I get about 1 e-mail a day from these ######ers.

Don't underestimate these people they can be very ruthless and many of them would just as soon look at you as kill you. Poverty and bad government make people do these kind of things, I am sure if they had better thinks to do they would do them.

Money is like water in that it will find its level over time. As my buying power here in Thailand has lost about 20 percent over the last year I may opt to spend my hard earned cash eleswhere. This in addition to the price of beer chang going up, makes other places to live more inticing. It is my money and I can spend it anywhere I like. One other thing that sticks in my mind is that they the thais never let you forget that you are only a visitor here. With the way they are handleling buying a house and investing here I think they are biting the hand that feeds them. Surely the neighboring countrys will fill the gap. I think only until they have lost alot of revenue will they wake up, the bad thing is that it will be the poor that have to endure the loss as in '97.

yea man i'll be there, love that smokin bbq just like the one i had at home, so i know how good stuff taste comming out of it.....
