I've just received an e-mail:

Buy the whole bike and replace some of the parts. You can find nearly new bikes at half the price on sites like kaidee or facebook marketplace. I did it after breaking my frame.
-
It happened to me a few times. A new chain may slip on old chainrings or cassette.
(I fix everything myself)

I checked the name again, Bewell... it's a health-wellness business (website: bewellstyle)

one thing about bike shop in Thailand is that there are 'Main Dealers' or Importers, who also has their own shop/showroom and probably has the best range of their products and slick looking website, but won't undercut on price with any 'mom&pop' dealers who distribute their products, so you'll get better price from the local bike shop

Thanks guys, I have been having a shop around and spotted a few bikes by the manufacturer Kaze, who are Japanese. I haven't heard of them before, are they any good. Bikes tend to be between 10-15k, which is a bit cheap but not too cheap in my opinion. What sort of reputation do they have, does anyone know?

???? I didn't know that one.
I was thinking about fixing the frame on my 29er... I checked forums, videos... Not worth it.
I'll put some ads to sell my light fork (Manitou M30), one-year old wheels, etc.

Cracked frame on my 29er (I might sell some of the parts one day)
No more classifieds on this website? I already checked Craigslist, Facebook... Do you have a bike for sale in good condition? 26", 29", hybrid, MTB, light foldable...
Thank you / Bangkok

Don't buy parts if you don't know how to replace them yourself.
Clean the bikes and find a bike shop to take care of everything (you'll find one, they don't have much work).
Search Bike Shop on Google Maps --> find their website or Facebook (I get answers when I send a PM on Facebook)

MTB tire
Flat 3 days in a row. I checked for cuts on the tire, then inside --> found a 2mm piece of glass stuck in the rubber (couldn't feel it with my fingers).

Thanks for all your help and advice. Received my new tyres from Shopee today !
From a Thai shop?
(I sometimes receive bike parts from China/AliExpress. I'm wondering if it's the same thing with Shopee, or if they also use Thai shops...?)

Thank you so much for the advice! Although they couldn't help me as they specialize in racing bikes and I needed help with my mountain bike, they were able to direct me to a store 8km away on Lat Prau Road. They sorted the bike out. Good job! LK bike.
They didn't want to clean/fix your bike for some reason. I bought a few parts from them in the past, and the last time I went there (Sept. 28), they cleaned the freehub on my Trek MTB.

It's a 29er. Large should be OK.

This is a resource I’ve attempted to use before... the issue I found; in Bangkok 90% of the websites (links) do not work and we are stuck with the ‘main stockists’ who seem disinterested in selling anything.
Most cyclists know this one. Trek importer; next to Lumphini Park/Bangkok. Prices and sizes: https://www.probike.co.th/en/products/A-002-02/trek-bike-mountain-bike

Ekapong speaks good English; send him a message. New bikes but ask him if he has some used ones; he rides a lot and knows a lot of cyclists.
