From the news article to which a link is given in the OP:

“In case that some countries require their arrivals to pass RT-PCR tests for COVID-19 before trips, such travelers will be required to have health insurance. This will benefit them if they are infected and must stay in Thailand until their recovery. Therefore, tourists should have their health insurance before visiting Thailand,” the [Thai] health minister said.

My question: Does China require that outbound passengers pass a Covid-19 test before travelling?

Not currently it seems. My wife (Thai) flew from China to Thailand on Jan 2nd and no test was needed. Nothing really except filling out a Covid history form when leaving China.

  2. double OMG! i got into BKK on sunday night around midnight and went to the Four Points on Soi 15 - after checking in, no ASN! (thanks though yosithezet, i know you were just trying to help). lots of sports channels, but no ASN. scrambled downstairs and started streaming the game on one of the computers near the lobby. at about halftime (2:30am), for some unknown reason - <deleted>?, the internet became to slow to stream video - so i started listening to the game on internet radio. after the giants scored to go up 31-10 with 8 minutes left in the fourth, completely exahusted, 3:30am, i crashed out. AND MISSED THE MOST EPIC COMEBACK IN EAGLES HISTORY!! the first part of any eagles game i have missed in the last five years!!

  3. Thanks for the replies. I too have BBB at the lowest premier level, i think 1166 after taxes and it is even slower this morning . . almost unusable. I live out past airport plaza, near Big C. I am trying to run the speed test, but I can't even get the speed test page to load/open. Sigh.

  4. Sorry about another internet thread. But, I have had Maxnet's (which changed to 3bb) premier line at 1090 baht a month and it has worked great for the last year. However, this past week it has gotten really slow and today it is almost useless. Anyone know the problem? Other premier users in Chiang Mai experiencing the same? A friend of mine told me it is due to the rain, and while I do not understand how that would effect internet speeds, I do remember it being slower during the rainy season last year too. Frustrating.

  5. yeah, you see the road that goes up the hill . . to the right of that road, down a bit, there are a few shops/restaurants . . big gravel parking area. the far left shop is a big traditional massage place . . it's pretty cool inside to due to the tree cover.
