Hi, I am living on west coast of Samui. Looking for a service that can come and clean mould etc off my home concrete boundary walls. The mould is quite bad and its been there for years. Once that is done (properly) I can re seal the walls and then pain them. Thx.

Recently moved back to Samui from Bangkok. Need to get a Samui residents certificate to renew my Thai drivers license. For documentation to present to Samui Immigration , I assume PP (Visa stamp etc) pages copied and signed rental agreement (showing address) may be enough ? Any thing else ?

Looking for Termite Control recommendations. (I just got a quote for yearly spraying (once every 3 months) for house and gardens for 12.5 K Bht.)

How long from retirement extension submission to when you can return to pickup the stamped passport ?

I eventually got the kids passports done at Cheangwattana Dept of Consular Affairs Office. Very efficient. Both parents needed to be present (or you would have needed some form of stat dec letter from spouse.) Just needed to provide : My passport Kids Thai IDs Mothers ID No photos required as they are done for you with all the other associated biometric data. Cost 1k Bht /passport We got there at 9.45 out but 10.30. I picked up the Thai passports from same place the next day after 15.30. That took a whole 15 minutes.

I need to do the Non O extension based on Retirement at Samui Immigration. I was told that part of the document requirement is a medical certificate. Can I still go to my usual doctor for this certificate (quite basic) or do I need to go to a hospital and get a more comprehensive/expensive certificate (blood test,chest x-ray) ?

Ive two children that have both Australian and Thai passports. We plan on travelling to Oz for holidays next month. The child Thai passports have just expired so they need to be renewed. Wondering if I can just take them (kids + documents etc) to the appropriate Office to get the Thai passport renewals done or does the kids Mother need to be present as well.

Ive seen it posted in various places that it is possible to get a Non O Visa within Thailand using the 30 Day Exempt Stamp. I'm hoping to do that to get a NON O visa (multi Entry) based on Retirement. Is that possible at Koh Samui Immigration?

Just did the Laksi (It Mall) extension...an absolute breeze!! Took a little over 30 mins though I did get there at 8.15AM ... there were probably about 15 other people. Quite a few were turned away at "Step 1" due to the fact that they were trying to extend 60 day visas...they were told to go to the Immigration on Chaengwattana. Didnt need the TM 30 ...and I didnt ask why. Thanks for the comments and recommendations.

Nonthaburi Immigration. On top of the TM30 they also require Rental agreement Landlord ID, House Book and Title Deed of the apartment Every page of passport copied. All for a mere 30 day extension.

My wife has a shophouse in Nakon Nayok (Ban Na area) that needs some general maintenance work on it. Does anyone know of a reputable handyman /builder type that could help her out ?

I'm back in Thailand after 3 months abroad. Entered on a visa exemption (30 days) Now would like to do the old 30 day extension but saw some info saying that I require TM 30 doc completed by landlord etc. Is this really the case now ?? I didnt need it previously when I got the extension while staying on Koh Samui.?

I have a 45 day VOA that I received at Suvarnabhumi Airport last month. It expires mid March. Wondering if its possible to extend this for at least 2 weeks ? If yes , for how long can it be extended and what would it cost ?

Anyone know when the next Gov School holiday break is ? My kids go to a Gov school (English Program) in Nonthaburi. Have asked the school but oddly (or maybe not !) they said they weren't sure .....yet. From memory it was usually about a month in early October but no one seems to know post Covid schooling disruptions.

I'm flying to Udon Thani tomorrow from Don Muang, then busing it to Friendship Bridge (Nong Kai) to cross into Laos for a few days in Vientiane. I need to get a re entry permit ... Can I get it tomorrow at Don Muang airport and use it later at the border...or do I need to get it at the actual border's Thai Immigration office ( Thai/Laos crossing point) ?
