Yama may sell that model in other countries not subject to Thai laws
You are probably right.......

I understand most Thai's are not bothered about riding illegally, but what about Thai's and foreigners who want to go down the legal route?

To be honest, I am confused. A 15yr old can get a motorcycle license to ride up to 110cc. The Yamaha Finn is 115cc... Does that mean Yamaha have missed out on 15 to 18 yr olds for the sake of 5cc? Or am I missing something?

In a significant development, the Royal Thai Police are set to equip their traffic officers with brand-new field-ready uniforms.
This move aims to bolster officer safety, agility, and overall performance while they carry out their essential duties on the roads, reported Thai Rath.
The decision to allocate funds for these new uniforms reflects the police force's commitment to ensuring the well-being of their personnel and the effectiveness of their operations.
According to Pol. Col. Arthayon Kraithong, the spokesperson for the National Police Bureau, this marks a historic moment as it's the first time such a specialized uniform will be provided to traffic officers.
The uniforms will be introduced nationwide on September 15, signifying a significant step in modernizing the police force's attire and operational approach.
The new uniform design, approved by Pol. Lt. Gen. Dhamrong Sakulkitphaisal, the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police, incorporates reflective elements for enhanced visibility, particularly during nighttime operations.

The uniform also retains key features from the existing anti-crime uniforms, such as the white thread sewn onto a uniform color patch, establishing a sense of uniformity within the police force.
The spokesperson highlighted that the decision to introduce these field-ready uniforms reflects the force's recognition of the vital role traffic officers play in maintaining public safety and order on the roads.
By providing them with specialized attire, the police force aims to improve their comfort, mobility, and visibility, contributing to better service delivery and safer road management.
The allocation of funds for these new uniforms demonstrates the Royal Thai Police's dedication to supporting its officers and enhancing their capabilities as they work tirelessly to ensure the well-being of the public.

If that is a problem then you'll make a new account on your wife's/gf name.
I do the same, also with phone number for the delivering, I always gives my gf phone number to explain how to drive.
I can do that, but it still will not help to get my money back.

A warning about Lazada.....
I have been shopping with Lazada for several years, COD is the way I have always paid.
When on the odd occasion, I have needed to return the item (wrong description etc) I have had the refund paid into my Lazada Account Wallet, then used tis to pay for other items... Never been a problem, until this last year.... Lazada informed me , because my account it is in a foreign name, I cannot 'verify' my Wallet, therefor, the money in the wallet is inaccessible.
I applied to have the money refunded to my bank account, after their 'Checking system', this was refused.
So basically, the money is limbo....
