  1. Yes,

    KhunBENQ,

We must be in same area,

I'm just past Non Daeng off Highway 2 , 60 km south Phon.

Thinking i'll try police again. No luck with police ,i'll have to go Korat Immigration,

    which is about 90km

Last time used both police and DLT in Phon because home in Phon.

This time choice of Phimai or Bua Yai DLT ,both about 30km.

  2. Hi,

My 5yr license is due to expire Mar 2021, due to the current situation I won't be back in Thai until Xmas 2020.

Last time I applied I showed passport with single entry Non O , marriage certificate and a letter from local police

station confirming address and no medical certificate.

This letter was obtained using my wife to guarantee  me using her tambian baan.

I can't for the life of me remember where i obtained the template for the police.

    Can anybody help ?

I have also changed passports so will take along old passport which matches number on old license.

We have changed address so i will have to pay extra for change ?

Which would be easier police station or local Immigration office using wife as guarantor  ?

    Thanks

  4. My first one year visa was a non-immigrant "O" and I had to leave every ninety days. I wasn't aware of it at the time, but I believe if you leave and return toward the end of your one year you can actually get almost 15 months stay in Thailand with that type of visa, as you'll get a new 90 day stamp when you re-enter. Maybe someone else can verify that.

So assuming financial requirements can be met i.e 40,000B per month based on marriage to thai can an extension of stay be applied for within first 90 days or is it better to wait until your last border run ?

I was thinking along the lines of obtaining NON 'O' in the UK and coming to LOS,entering on said visa

and applying for the extension before my 90 days were up.

Basically to save me the hassle of a border run.

    Any advice chaps :o
