she can cook, clean take care of kids.

Her husband works locally as a restaurant manager so ias only really interested In working in the bangchang area. she also has enough contacts for part time work and is only really interested in a full time position. we paid her originally 8000 for 5 days 8:00 till 5:00

  2. To those who might be interested, bike land has moved. Im not sure what happened but the lady who has opened a music tutoring shop there(5000 per 10 hrs) has alot of the bikes and parts in the back shed for sale at a 20 percent discount. There is alot of good stuff there for bike enthusiests.

To find Som sak's new shop turn left at the last lights before home pro and a couple kilo's up that road on the right hand side you will find his shop.

  3. I think that anyone who becomes so frustrated by living in Thailand that they consider migration as the only solution, than I would agree that a move would be better for everyone.

I think every expat has his own way of coping with cultural differences. I find a trip back to my original country clears my head and I am reminded of me why I live in Thailand.

  4. I looked around for these type sheds for ages, eventually gave up and had one made by a local bloke. It is a bit rough around the edges, but overall I am pretty happy with the result. 3x3m shed about 8000 for materials 2000 for the labour. I think I got ripped off with the gal sheeting though, is there a way to tell the good stuff from the dodgy stuff?

  5. I live in bangchang, is there anyone willing to share on the net a few choice locations for riding? I haven't managed to find any tracks of decent length in this area. The dirt roads I used to ride on are fast becoming cement roads. I would love to find a new bush track that dosent end in a dead end or major highway. Cheers

  6. Does anyone know of any good places close by where there is a track of decent length for any of these activities or even just a quiet walk with the dog away from other soi dogs or farmers dogs? Cheers

  7. I agree with street cowboy, the simplest of endevours that would normally be completed effortlessly back home, sometimes takes a monumental amount of planning, patience, persistance that only sometimes works out to your satisfaction but often does not.

After expending all that time and energy its easier to understand the Thais pragmatic attitude towards life and might be happier and healthier in the long run to achieve less but also stress less?

Saying that I work outside the country where it's easier to concerntrate on my objectives.

  8. I haven't really any idea about bikes, but my mates are riding canondales and my mountain bike does not cut the mustard. I think I need something with a graphite frame at least. Is there any websites for good import bikes in Thailand and maybe an online bike size calculator.

    Cheers

  9. Could someone pronounce the Thai word ดาวศุกร์ ;in written English for me?

Or how about cherry blossom/ sakura, is there a Thai equivalent?

I'm trying to find a nice Thai name for my daughter due in July.

    Cheers

  10. Is there a particular season when snakes are more active? Every house I've lived in in Thailand has had snakes in the yard at some stage, I usually find them after the dog has killed'em. She's got quite a tally up, and so far no injurys.

Comming from rural australia, where there it is pretty common to find deadly snakes everywhere the only thing you could do was educate your kids about how best to avoid them and what to do once you encounter them.

Best to leave them alone, they usually don't stay long unless you've a permanent food source for them.

  11. Bumping for additional suggestions.

Bang chang has a few around the place, pirimus hotel at nam rin beach has good facililitys

Eastern star has a gym next to the driving range

Sukon tong? village has one with a swimming pool, same road as the strip.

Most puplic parks these days have got free stuff that usually dont work that well, no idea where they are in rayong?
