  1. We have a newly installed True adsl line hooked up to a wifi router (U.S. robotics). It works wonderfully on my husband's PC (which I am working on now), but not with my mac. At first it was working okay (although it would lose the internet and was a lot slower than on the PC), but now it seems to only keep connected for a minute or two before it dies, sometimes showing it is connected to the station other times not. Once it's lost, there's nothing I can do to regain it - it only decides to magically work again on its own (usually after multiple reboots).

Has anyone experienced this problem and aware of any settings I might be able to use to address it?

What Mac ? what operating system X or 9,what connection, you dont give enough details to help you

  2. is the war started ?????

I was in the singapore airport yesterday waiting to board the thai airways flight TG412 17.30 singapore time . What surprised me is that all passagers coming from bangkok have to go to a search the same as you doing when boarding the plane .Also when we arrive in bangkok the plane was park very far from the terminal have to take the bus.

  3. I already have the DS setup, but the new channels do not warrant an extra 700B in my opinion. UBC is just too expensive now for what u get.

EDIT** I called UBC and they say the website is a mistake... only Bloomberg is added to Gold (wow).

Following UBC site in the gold package they remove the only french program TV5 to have it back you need to upgrade to platinium , I hope that is a mistake.

  4. For those that have UBC here...

Not all of it can be complete pants, can it? Flicking around I occasionally catch something worth watching, but never am aware what time it started, or when to catch it again. That’s why I thought about starting this thread.

Know about a film/programme that might be of interest to the rest of us? Please note it down here along with date/time(s). Thanks in advance! :o

    Just look at http://www.ubctv.com/default.aspx?
