Hi ,
I have had a Thai company for more than 4 yrs , no longer used as it did not make any money !
However the Paid up Capital is more than 2.5 M Baht , & there are Tax Credits for approx 200,000 B !
This is available if you wish to purchase & transfer registration & change company name .
How much are you prepared to pay ?
Pls send a private message to me & maybe we can deal ?
Regards

Hi Guys,
Ultimately it is all "Academic" !
However as somebody said already just do not get paid in Thailand !
Lastly en184 , I have to say that you should understand something regarding the 'Non Immigrant B' Visa , this allows somebody to stay in Thailand for 90 days not 30 days as a Tourist Visa allows !
To amke a "Moot Point" anyone working or attempting to do any work on a "Tourist Visa" should first visit the Immigration Dept in Bangkok , walk behind the Building and take a look at the Immigration Jail !!!!!
Best of Luck for the "Dummies"

Hi Guys,
Seems like lots of readers of this web forum have similar skills & understanding as many Thai's !
I am not trying to be unkind but reading the responses ie Mighty Mouse" , makes me concerned that many people really have none or very little idea ?
Pls be aware that many Banks in Thailand incl. BOA & BBL do have Internet Banking !
Lastly the statement about sending Funds to Thai Banks & not being able to track them is ludicrous , as was the statement regarding sending funds from other Countries to Thailand !
Some not all Banks in Oz , UK etc provide this function once you have registered for this function (ANZ Bank in Oz case in point)
Also one can send funds O/S from Thai Banks , but first you have to download the forms & apply through the Central Bank.
Hope that somebody makes use of this info , it certainly beats the #### out of standing in a queue at a Bank !!!

Hi this a new topic for me !
I have a friend who has enquired about the possibility of obtaining one of these International/UN "Special Licences" ?
I already have one of these, obtained some yrs ago, but understand that many of the "Issuers" have now stopped providing this service !
This is not for use in Thailand , but overseas only, for emergencies !
Can anyone assist , perhaps Khao San Rd is still doing this ?
Any Thoughts ?

Hi ,
The best place in Bangkok for most Medical/Dental work on Sukhumvit is Bumrungrad Hospital , it is also one of the most expensive !
My suggestion based upon a great deal of success is the Bangkok Nursing Home "BNH" !
Some of the Doctors & Dentists are or have been trained in UK or Australia !
Good Value !

Hi ,
I also have been throught this once or twice , so this is what happens :
You need to apply personally with an original letter signed by an appropriate Senior Executive from the "Borisat Thai"
Therefore no point in faxing or having anything faxed this is not normally acceptable

Caught in the act , makes an interesting point about Banks !
Perhaps this topic should be in another Forum ?
However to get things really going I have had bank A/c's in Thailand since 1998 , (that was BBL) No I did not have a Work Permit at that time as I was only a visitor !
Since that original A/c I have added some more firstly SCB , which was a total disaster , anyone who want's to lose a considerable amount of money go to this Bank , they will assist you in this endeavour , then after you write a letter they will just ignore that incident hoping you will go away !
Short answer I did & recommend that any Bank who willingly engages in dishonest behaviour should be penalised by somebody ?
However the really interesting point is , that recently we sent a Company Cheque to a Thai employee , this was drawn on one Bank but presented to another , result they would not accept the chq , even though this person had an A/c with both banks !
Interpretation , somebody did not understand banking policy , think about this , things (commerce) would grind to a halt here if chqs could only be paid into A/c's of the same Bank ?
This is actually why there is a clearance time for chq's & vouchers are exchanged between all the clearing Banks !
Hang in there perhaps things may get better !!
