  1. O.k.,

We might want to be so quik to judge someone who just wants to look after his family.

What is more important? Following wrong and bad laws ?

the person in question just wants to stay with his family and not be forced to split apart.

How can one stay when he has maxed out his tourist visa options and cannot obtain a non immigrant? He is being forced to split apart his family.

that's the same excuse millions of illegal mexicans picking america's lettuce and oranges say every day but nobody listens.if he's willing to pick thailand's mangos and papayas for a dollar a day they may let him stay.

  2. having attended private schools and universities, the first time i dated public school girls or girls from the other side of the tracks, was a mind-opening experience.not much in common in interests or experiences and they knew nothing about ski trips and frat parties as i knew nothing about bowling alleys and domestic beers.

found the poor women in the us to be quite heavier in the weight department versus their thai counterparts.

  3. Another option is to open a global trading account with E-Trade. Once you deposit money into the account you can select the currency to park it in ( beleive there are currently six currencies and one is the yuan ). This account also allows you to trade directly on the Hong Kong exchange ( as well as london, frankfurt, toronto ).

i use etrade and trade hong kong stocks and keep my trading money in hong kong dollars which is as undervalued as the yuan and both currencies are about 40% undervalued versus the dollar.

my hk/china stocks have gone up sometimes as much as 100% i.e. my shares in cnooc have gone from 8.37 to 17.18 in the past 6 months.

my hong kong dollars have been steadily appreciating in value so one gets double the benefits of stock rise and currency appreciation/protection.

look into the h-a discount and stocks not listed on mainland exchanges as sure bets as china now allows mainlanders to buy hong kong stocks which are undervalued versus their shanghai or shenzhen listed counterparts plus some of the biggest companies ike china mobile and petrochina and cnooc are not listed on the mainland exchanges so they can now be bought by mainlanders.

i also have fxy the yen currencyshare etf as well as a yen deposit account with everbank so am betting on the carry trade unwinding soon.

  4. i find it amusing how people who don't speak each other's language can somehow insult each other and be understood.

unfortunately pattaya is a small town and i used to always see people i knew or had some interaction with, usually females, and this was from living just 3 months there.

  5. wealth and economics would act as defacto passports anyway.someone from the us or europe or japan has the money to travel to africa for safari adventures but a bushman from africa can't afford to see paris or disney world.plus those in the rich countries would more than protest having their southern hemisphere friends moving into their neighborhoods.

  6. :o IVE TRIED ALMOST ALL THE CAR RENTAL COMPANIES (APART FROM THE THE BEACH BUMS) IN PATTAYA AND JOMTIEN, WITHOUT A DOUBT Q CARS WIN BY A MILE. THEY ARE ALWAYS RELIABLE AND PROVIDE PROPER INSURANCE AND 24 HOUR BREAKDOWN SERVICE WITH ENGLISH SPEAKERS ON THE END OF THE LINE. RENTED AT LEAST A DOZEN OF THERE VEHICLES HAD A COUPLE OF ACCIDANTS AND THE Q CARS TEAM HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC AND VERY PROFFESSIONAL WITH THE WAY THEY HANDLED EVERYTHING. THEY HAVE FAR AND AWAY THE BIGGEST FLEET IN PATTAYA AND MOST OF THE LARGE COMPANIES RENT LONG TERM FROM THEM. JON THE ENGLISH OWNER IS A hel_l OF A NICE GUY, WHO WILL ADVISE YOU ON ALMOST ANYTHING AND WILL GLADLY HAVE A FRIENDLY CHAT OVER A BEER OR TWO. YOU CAN CONTACT HIM DIRECT ON 0818087213. HE ALWAYS ANSWERS HIS PHONE.

you home now to take my call?need advice about my friend's gf and whether or not he should dump her.and i'll pass on the beers today.

  7. this was a rather thin gold chain i had forever. he may get lunch over it. the sad part is the ass couldnt even see it so he was just hoping. i originally thought he just hated farangs and wanted to rip my shit since he could. then i saw my chain gone. i have no doubt he will try again someday but this time i will be facing traffic and he will not be a happy camper

a 3 foot length of strong monofilament fishing line attached to a 3 ounce lead fishing sinker can easily fit in one's pocket and swung around can give him a serious headache.

and the term "snatch and grab" seems redundant as snatching and grabbing are the same thing.

    prefer grabbing snatch myself.

  8. i agree with bentdicks but plead ignorance as only knew of its location and that they had a room available.knew nothing about its rep or even heard of hooker hotels and their website needs some updating.

still it was an experience and seeing my gf really po'd for the first time was really funny and quite the turn on.

  9. unfortunately "guest friendly" and hookers don't mix well when going with a girlfriend.the poor security guard at the desk in front of the elevators made the mistake of asking mine for her id card.she spewed such thai venom at him that the poor guy was beet red and apologized profusely.

the disco was ok with the dancers dressed like supergirl and two holidaying brit gents having a lot of fun surrounded by about ten women and a few bottles of johnny walker.

  10. unfortunately stayed there a couple weeks ago due to its convenient location near sukhumvit and the skytrain.made reservations for 3 nights but checked out the next day.moldy smelling room with clogged shower drains and hookers all over the lobby and parking lot.a fleabag to be avoided.

  11. where have you been the last several years?the writing was on the wall a while back just based on fundamentals and i spent the last few years getting out of dollars and us assets.sold all my us real estate, moved my cash into everbank's foreign currency accounts and cd's,bought up gold bullion coins and silver perth mnt certificates, and now have more invested in the hong kong stock market and hong kong dollars than us stocks and dollars through etrade.

these and other financial moves have more made me a tidy profit besides insulating me from the usd's decline and eventual us economic shock coming.

  12. The U.S. Mint has sold 22-karat gold coins known as American Eagles since 1985, but Deputy Director David A. Lebryk said the new offering is aimed at investors who want coins that are pure gold. He estimates that the world market in gold coins is divided between sales of 24-karat coins such as the Canadian Maple Leaf, which account for 60 percent of the market, and more durable 22-karat coins, a category dominated by the American Eagle. Last year the mint sold 420,000 American Eagle coins, which also have a face value of $50 and contain 1 ounce of gold plus some alloy metal for durability.

"The United States Mint intends to match and exceed world class business practices with this new 24-karat gold bullion coin," said Henrietta Holsman Fore, director of the U.S. Mint, in a statement.

"There is a demand, both here and abroad, for 24-karat gold coins," she said. "We want to meet this demand by providing the highest quality and most beautiful coins in the world."

According to the Mint, the global market for 24-karat bullion coins is $2.4 billion.

It's clear that the government is responding to competitive pressure. As much as 60 percent of investor-grade gold coins sold internationally last year were 24-karat, with Canada's Maple Leaf piece one of the most popular.

Until now, the highest grade U.S. coins have been the 22-karat American Eagle series, first introduced in the 1980s after Congress banned the sale of South African Krugerrands to protest apartheid.

The Mint claims that the American Eagle accounts for 95 percent of all gold coin sales in the United States. But on the much larger international market, 24-karat pieces are more popular. Washington found itself without an entry in the field.

  13. unfortunately the international gold buyers and jewelry makers were passing up the 22k eagles for 99.99% pure maple leafs, etc., by a huge margin thus the mint brought out the 24k buffalos to compete for the world market and not just the american market.a 22k coin weighing 1.2 ounces still has filler and the world and jewelers avoid it.

  14. american eagles are 22k and the new american buffalos are 24k.i have dozens of only 24k bullion coins mostly china pandas, canadian maple leafs, aussie kangaroos, and austrian philharmonics.pandas are my favorite as they change the designs every year and they gain the most numismatically compared to the other coins.

i stick with only internationally recognized 24k gold coins and avoid thai baht gold.uob bank in singapore buys and sells gold bullion coins.
