Must admit crossing 2nd Road can be a death trap and I have crossed the road many times. The answer to crossing is to be patient. Take your time and there will always be a gap in the traffic giving enough comfortable time to cross. But most pedestrians are in the same hurry that the cars, bikes and trucks etc are in hence the main problem.

If you are ever in Pattaya try the La Stroganoff Restaurant in Soi 13/1 closer to Beach Rd than Second RD on the right as you walk towards the beach. Have three course meal for 260 baht which is excellent. An extra 20 baht if you haave the fillet steak with pepper sauce. Also Rins bar in Pattaya New Plaza opposite the famous Soi 8 has an excellent roast Sunday lunch for 120 baht.

There is no oyster to compare with bluff oysters from NZ. Believe me, thats if you can afford to buy them.
