Just add 3 teaspoons of dried chilli flakes and make sure you are near a decent toilet.

             i went to Samat Prakan Immigration office this morning to apply for the above 60 day extension.

All went well and approved within an hour.

Staff all helpful and friendly.

However, i did get fined THB 1,000 for no TM30.

I have never done one of these before in 22 years, but now registered.

              Immigration did not mention 60 day extension at all.

No application forms for this at Samart Prakan.

They asked if i had 800K Baht in bank, i said no, not here.

They said border run.

I have a 3 month typeO visa based on child dependent,which runs out first week of July.

I work in Middle East and supposed to resume work after Ramadam.

I went to Samat Prakan Immigration office today to see if i could get a 30 day extension.

This is knowing the people in my office are rather lax during Ramadam.

Immigration told me i could only get 7 days extension here.

They informed me to go to Poi Pet to do a land crossing and obtain a 30 visa exempt stamp.

As i don't have my flight yet booked to return to work, i don't know if this is a good idea.

Work issued me a return ticket which expired 30th May.

Perhaps a flight down to KL and back would be easier for me.

In the 17 years i have been based in Bangkok this year seems to be the hotest.

I always try to drink at least 3 litres of water before thinking of having a beer or several.

Last time i arrived at Heathrow terminal 5 from Mid East (October 2011)it took more than an hour to get through immigration.

That was in the UK nationals line.

It's not just a problem at swampy.

Air India has a terrible safety record.

Not to mention that they change the schedules.

I'm on Etihad on 9th at 19,300 THB which includes 3% credit card hike at travel agent.

I would go with Jacks golf.

Large bus with plenty of leg room.

Over stayers should pay 500THB per day over stay.

No 20,000THB max fine.

Also one day in jail for each day over stayed.

It is very easy to sort visas and visa runs out.

Some people are so tight/lazy.

Thai airways prices have gone up due to "high season".

I usually fly with Thai, but a single BKK to London they wanted 40,000 THB.

So i got one with Etihad at 19,300.

Both economy prices.

I use Thai overlander on SUK. between asoke and soi 23.

They shop around and get deals.

I agree with Pria, 500THB a day overstay and one day in jail for each day overstay.

These lazy people who cannot be bothered to do visa runs make life more difficult for the rest of us.

My friend stayed there a few years ago and it was very nice.
