  1. Please rent before buy the condo in Bangkok. there're so many hidden problems. I have a room in Baan Sathorn Chao praya. My parking building is now a little village for employees and manager. Rooms being rent to the short term tourists. Many lawsuits against owners . Please be careful.

  2. :D:o:D

Please use your head. PAD had been blamed for everything by this government. I was in the Government house when police attacked us. They used gun, your guys should find out more on the fact.I'd suggest that you should go to the GH to see how peaceful they are. Those students are the heroe, I really respect them and also I beleive in justice. PAD is a big group of people who want to get rid of corruptions. You all know how bad it is. Please open your eyes and use your head.

    :D

University students joining political turmoils... not a great idea.

A very tragic incident but saying that students(the future of a country) should not be politically involved is incorrect.

Hopefully this is not the start of something worse.

looks like a job done by PAD. so that they can make the ram uni student angry. They have the largest number of student and history of striking against the government.

  3. I'm new to the forum, so sorry if these questions are kind of basic. I have a one year "O" category visa, multiple entries allowed, in my US passport. This visa will expire in three weeks. To get an extension for a year, do I fill out the form TM 7, Application for extension of temporary stay in the Kingdom, and what additional papers/forms do I need to bring along? I will be going to the Immigration Office at Suan Phlu in Bangkok. Also, the visa states: "Extension of stay not permitted." Is that hard and fast, or does it just mean I have to fill out the extension request before the visa expires?

    Thanks,

    OC

  4. Thank you all for your valuable comments!

I am also concerned by the location even if I believe that the private pier and the future extension of the BTS line will make it less of a problem.

The view from the apartment I am thinking of has nothing special (I'll be lucky if I can see the river) but the price for upper units is almost double...

The facilities, the greenery and the "river side effect" (being not a native english speaker sorry if it sounds strange :o ) will hopefully make the condo attractive...

That's a bit of a risk to take though...
