  2. Hi XGM,

I'm not sure that all my answers are correct, they only reflect my own experience of getting a Non-O extension based on marriage in CM, after coming from Bangkok 7 years ago.

    1) 45 days seems to be long. I usually do it 3 weeks before expiration

    2) I've always managed to have 400 000 THB 3 months before (better to long that not enough).

    3) You should ask the local branch of your bank if they are willing to issue a bank statement. Maybe just go there before going to immigration and ask, so you can also know their opening time.

    4) In CM, the statement dated the day before is OK (has always been OK for me).

    5) Best to go there at 6:00, or even before. On that particular day, I leave home very early and my wife take our girls to school by taxi and then met me at Promenada around 8:00. Lst year, they started to give the queue-Nr at 8:30.

    Good luck

  3. Yes, I confirm. Change your THB in Euro in Thailand before to go.

Go to your bank and order the amount 1-2 weeks before, so you are sure they have what you need.

  4. Elite Smile, at the corner of Panthip Plaza.
I've done 5 implants and currently doing the 6th (and the last - I hope!!).

The implantologist is only there on Wednesday, but very professional.

36,000 THB the implant + 10-15,000 the crown, according to the chosen quality.

  5. Went there this morning, 2nd of June, for marriage extension.

Started to queue at 5:00, around 20 people there, 5 in the "Teacher/Student" line, 1 in the center line, 15 in the "Business/Thai Spouse/Bolunteer" (yes, Bolunteer!) line.

Doors opening at 6:45, they let people in to receive their queue-Nr. Some queue-jumpers were called to order.

Got Nr 3, was processed at 10:00, out at 11:00 after picture taken by the "lady" at the front desk.

I think 6:00 - 6:15 AM is the limit after which you have to come back next day.

  6. !! 8 M THB ONLY !!

Very big house (2x250 sqm) on a 2000 sqm (1 rai, 1 ngan) land, with swimming pool and a house for guests, surrounded by a nice garden in a very quiet and safe area, near Nakhon Chaisi, about 1 hour drive west of Bangkok.

The main house is partly furnished witrh 4 bedrooms, 1 office, 1 maidroom, 1 big living room, a fully-equipped European kitchen, 2 bathrooms (1 with jet-booth), 1 laundry and 1 workshop.

The house for guests has a fully-furnished bedroom for 2 people, a european bathroom and an area upstairs that can accomodate 4-5 people. There is also a sauna room beside the swimming pool.

We are a French/Thai family and have built this house in 2003 and moved-in in 2004. It is in good condition, we refresh the woodstain every two years and the paintings every five years. The swimming pool is very well maintained by our gardener.

As we are now living in Chiang Mai and we have no plans to come back, we have decided to sell it. We do not seek any profit and we are ready to discuss a reasonable price with a credible buyer.

We are also ready to study any long-term rental solution with someone who wants to develop a Homestay business with a limited investment.

Please contact by PM or e-mail (see attachment)
