  1. At the levels we're talking about, just leave the bleach in the tank. It's no stronger than the chlorine normally put in the water supply, you may not even smell it.

    So how much you recommend?

I'm clueless in this area. I think it's 900 litre tank

  2. I would drain down the tank and drop a few glugs of Haiter bleach or a pool chlorine block in there to kill off any interesting wildlife.

    interesting...

Say I do it and put a bit haiter bleach in threre, you think I'll be able to wash it out easily?

  3. Hey eladblum, I bet you a sic-pack of Chang the pump is seized.

Sorry Mate. There isn't much happening on TVF at the moment, so I am glued to your thread.

    Lol

    Everything is working fine actually,

I closed the valves before I took the photo.

The funny thing is, I was replacing a tap in the house, so I closed the main valve that is on the meter.

When I finished, I opened the valves in the pic. Like I said, I've never had a water tank before, so it took about 36 hours for us to empty the tank.

Eventually, after playing with the valves in the photo thinking I might have done something wrong, I posted the thread and after a few hours it popped into my mind that the main valve was closed the whole time... Wife showered from a bottle as the water ran out right when she was washing her hair....

  4. Thanks for the help guys.

I'm asking just of curiosity as I never had a pump or a water tank before.

I've managed to figure it out,

The pipe in the back which ends up in the higher inlet of the tank, feeds the tank with water.

The lower outlet of the tank, leeds to the pump and out from the pump it splits to two ways.

One to the house, and the other leeds back to the pipe that feeds the tank (Can't really understand why though).

And what's the purpose of the valve on the right of the pump?

  5. <script type='text/javascript'>window.mod_pagespeed_start = Number(new Date());</script>

    Hardly a bad experience.

Did you order "fitted rubber mats" or just "rubber mats". If you ordered rubber mats it looks as though the dealer kept his side of the deal and you are now trying to change the rules.

When you were in the showroom ordering the car didn't you notice that "every single car in there" had those mats, that should have been a clue as to what you would get also, surely?

Actually we didn't mention mats at all. I thought it was basic stuff. If the salesman had asked me what kind of rubber mats I want, I would have notice this earlier.

I saw those mats in all cars only after I got the car.

I went to another showroom where all the cars had just paper mats in them. Are you suggesting they're selling the cars with paper mats unless the buyers ask specifically for rubber mats or something different????

Have you tried the key in the cat to see if it does anything?

    It gargles... 555

Elad, what sort of deal did you get ? As I understand that they are doing very good deals due to the upgraded model coming soon !

the price was 699,000. Paid 25% and the rest over 5 years with 0% interest

    also got 1 year insurance

  6. Just got my fiesta today. 1.5 sport

Instead of the normal rubber floor mats that should fit exactly to the space, i got 4 equal squared shape mats.

They said and i quote: "this is how we sell the cae at our dealership."

after i stood in the middle of the showroom (which by the way, every single car in have those lousy square mats) complaining in front of other customrs, they said they'll check it after songkran.

Did anyone came across with something like it?

Passing near the car as i enter the dealership i notice that the plastic cover has already been removed. When i asked, i was told that they've removed it for me this morning.

could it be that they've sold me a cat that was on display?

  7. Check if the knocking noise occurs with the Triton stationary, engine running and pressing the clutch pedal. If the noise occurs regardless of road speed it might be clutch related such as the pressure plate release bearing.

Drive on a deserted stretch of road at say 20-30 kms per hour, coast with the vehicle in neutral and let it slow down. Noise or not.

Rev the engine very slightly. Noise of not?

Do the same thing but apply the brakes gently. Noise of not?

Do the same thing but depress the clutch. Noise or not?

In first gear drive at 5-10 kph and gently touch the throttle to increase speed slightly then let of to decrease, it there a knock during transition for on power to off power? Does the noise come from the front the back or the middle?

    Cheers fellas,

I'll do that and update with the test results.

  8. having a problem with my nearly 5 year old mitsubishi triton plus.....

when driving in the town at a slow speed, let's say 5-10 km/h, i put my foot on the clutch to slow down or come to a stop. I here this not so loud knocking sound coming from what i think to be the underneath of the truck. I can feel it through the steering wheel and also faintly through the seat. Me being me and my wife being Thai we take it to the dealership where we have always had the truck serviced. They tell me it's the ball bearings in the steering column ( excuse any wrongly used technical terms as i'm not a mechanic ). So thinking that sounds possible we had it changed. the steering has certainly improved BUT , you guessed it, the noise was still there. Actually the noise is now possibly even louder.....PLEASE can anyone suggest what to do or what is wrong so i can go back and tell the mitsubishi dealership what i think of them after charging me 9,300 baht and not fixing the problem.....

    yours hopingfully

  9. If it's in downtown bangkok, then it has to be pretty much nationwide

    Why is that?

Are you sure you're not mixing it with Foot and Mouth disease?

The kids got Hand, foot and mouth disease. It is not the same.

I think u are splitting hairs.

Human foot and mouth disease also presents it on the hands. human foot and mouth, is the same add human foot, mouth and hand, or id that different from, mouth, foot and hand, or mouth, foot and hand disease?

I tried to read it but, you got me confused. Let's try again

Foot-and-mouth disease - is a viral disease that afects cloven-hoofed animals. Humans can be infected but with minor affects.

Hand-foot and mouth disease is from the same family but affects humans - attack mainly children and caused many deaths in the past.

  10. I was told to come and and change the สปริงกดกระเดื่องวาล์ว

Couldn't figure out what is that and the guys at Honda couldn't explain in English.

Only thing that I've managed to understand was that it's getting noisy and had to be replaced.

    Anyone got a clue?
