ive been going to pattayas since 2004 and i have never seen any girl even remotely underage working in a bar or gogo,

on facebook, thai friendly, and from fashionable clubs in bangkok, but my quite uumm 'extensive' knowledge is of the basic pattaya scene, over the last 13 years

the best ive known was a very popular gal who used to work in the Jomtien area, she gave a fantastic service and had countless

returnees for a few years before she retired and opened her own massage place, has two condos, a farang buddy of mine who helped her with her money said she was earning 600,000 a year,  very good income for a basic massage parlour gal, also as an aside

a popular massage lady can get many 'returnees' if they give a good service and earn quite a pocketful of baht a month,

exactly and being out on a scooter in the early hours in Jomtien is asking for trouble, keep to the usual playtime

haunts in Pattaya, dont venture down dark sois unless in a large group of friends, dont get drunk, have your bar fine register at your hotel lobby etc etc and you will be perfectly safe,

my feet on two previous visits, it was a well planned 28 day holiday that was going to be filled with fun frolics and golf, but i also arrived that day with a chest infection that never left me for the whole month !! feverish, ill, weak, also had the sore throat from hell and a colossal blister on my big toe that mysteriously appeared, spent most of the time in bed or laying down on one of the couches in my digs (*at that time a guest house that has since become a gogo on soi lk metro) where the good hearted boss regularly visited the pharmacy for my medications. what a trip!

now think of this all over thailand, and i suppose will the thai govenment be giving all thew redundant workers associated

in my trips i have probably contributed between £25 to 30K to the thai economy and im a budget rtraveller

many will spend i would estimate 4 to 5 times as much as me on their holiday, now simply multiply such totals by hundreds of thousands each year for each visitor and the effect on local economies will be huge
